Keeper of the Stars Book Review

I have a really great romance novel for all of you that is titled Keeper of the Stars written by Robin Lee Hatcher.

Forgiveness is the only cure for heartbreak. But can Penny forgive the man she holds responsible for her brother’s death?
When her mother died from pneumonia, Penny Cartwright was heartbroken. But now, after burying her younger brother just 12 years later, she is devastated. Anger, guilt, and sorrow cloud Penny’s mind, and the last thing she wants is to be reminded of her pain—but that’s exactly what happens when a stranger comes to town.
Trevor Reynolds has been chasing fame for more than a dozen years, but his musical career can’t get off the ground. While on the road, an accident kills his young drummer, Brad Cartwright. Trevor wasn’t behind the wheel, but he still blames himself . . . and so does Brad’s sister, Penny. Now Trevor finds himself in Kings Meadow, determined to follow through on his final promise to his friend.
Still feeling the pain of Brad’s death, Penny and Trevor must learn that forgiveness is the only thing that can heal their hearts. And if they do forgive, something beautiful may rise from the ashes of heartbreak.
My Thoughts:
I think we all love books that somehow give us hope that there is good things waiting for us if we could just get pass the negative things that have happened to us in our lives.
There is nothing better than reading a really good, down to earth romance novel that shows us how to reach for love while we are still grieving for someone we lost.
It's not easy for Penny to do that and at first she refuses to see that Trevor is a good man. She wants to hold onto the bad image because it makes her feel like she isn't betraying her brother who died in an accident while with Trevor.
I have to give Trevor a lot of credit for sticking around and waiting out the time that was needed for Penny to come to grips with the loss of her brother and the new man who happens to move to her hometown after recovering from the same accident.
It's a good feeling book that is perfect for the winter and I love the colors of the book because it almost reminds you of Christmas!
Happy Reading!

I have read several of her books and loved them all. I'll say A Vote of Confidence is one of my favorite. Thank you for the chance to win one of Robin's books. God bless!
