“Lauren Carr does a good job of moving the quirky storyline along nicely with an abundance of witty dialogue.  And you have no idea who the good guys are and who the bad guys are until the end.” – Reviewer: Every Free Chance Book Reviews.

My Thoughts:

If you love reading murder/mysteries as much as I do, then you will want to read this book! I am just disappointed that I didn't know until I read this book that there was a series with these characters. So, I think I missed the first book or maybe two, but, this story is one that can be read alone and you still know what is going on.

What I really enjoyed about the book was that it's not gory, which I guess if you like such vivid details of people being killed, you probably won't read this book, but I really rather not read such details. Knowing someone was killed with a gun or knife is really all I need to know. There also isn't a lot of sexual scenes either, but it's got romance out the wahzoo! It seems like everybody is pairing off with someone in this book but it's respectable and decent.

I sincerely hope to catch the next book that comes out. What Lauren Carr has done is with each couple that they introduce in each book, then the next book goes on to the new couple and what they face in that mystery. Pretty clever way of keeping up the suspense and not be boring!

Happy Reading!
