I guess if I have to choose a second it would be something with zombies, but I've read a lot of those lately. Most recently: Getting out of Jersey.

Mr.Murder by Dean Koontz creeped me out a bit. but the poet by michael connelly is pretty dark

I don't read very many horror books, but I like thrillers and mysteries. I liked The Last Juror by John Grisham.

I love anything by Stephen King or Dean Koontz. Both have great suspenseful stories that are spooky!

The Night I Disappeared, by Julie Reece Deaver. It's not a traditionally scary/thriller story (and it's a middle grade book), but it made me question if my reality is just a figment of my imagination/wonder if I'm "crazy". Kind of a hard hitter when you're in middle school!
