Honey Tea Thyme Review

Gosh, I tried several different ways to get these to come out looking as fabulous as they really are, but my camera is just a plain small pocket one, so I apologize that these didn't come out better, but I will be showing you some from Honey Tea Thyme also, so you will get a much better idea of how delicious these flavors are if you are into Honey as much as we are!

They were so kind to send me 6 different flavors to try! Here is what I reviewed:
  • Lavender
  • Gogi Mangosteen
  • Lucuma Papaya
  • Vanilla Spice
  • Rose Petal
  • Schisandra Berry
I have to admit that Lavender was my very best favorite, which you all probably aren't surprised about that since it's my go to scent that I love the most and it's also my favorite flavor of tea, so having a Lavender Honey, just made my cup of tea even more spectacular!

The honey is very thick so it doesn't take much and I would experiment a bit with the amounts until you get the right amount that is to your liking. All of their honey's are made with 100% pure raw honey, so you will get all the health benefits that honey provides. Along with its natural ability to sooth the throat, they also recommend honey for overall health and nutrition.  Honey contains an enzyme that produces low continuous levels of hydrogen peroxide.  This contributes to the main reason for honey's legendary ability to kill viruses, fungi, and bacteria.

My second favorite was the Rose Petal.

I have had Rose flavored tea and absolutely loved it! I actually still have some and it's one of my go to tea's when I am feeling low and want to pep myself up. Adding this honey to my English Rose Tea is the absolute bomb!

By the way, they have 19 different flavors so I am sure you will find one or two that you will love whether it's for your tea or something else!

The honey is infused with all natural essential oils, organic herbs, and other natural extracts. The various flavors of Honey Tea Thyme are wonderful for instant herbal teas.  All you need is a teaspoon of Honey Tea Thyme in a cup of hot water and the flavor is already there!  It is also delicious on your favorite hot cereal or spread on toast. And I did try it on a thin bagel one day and it really is a great alternative to butter. It's also very good on oatmeal if you like oatmeal and if you don't like oatmeal, these honey's will make you love oatmeal because it really does bring out the flavor!

The Lucuma Papaya is probably one of the more thicker honeys for some reason so I decided to use this one as a match for my Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich but used the honey instead of jelly and it was a match made in heaven!

This is one of their newer blends and according to Honey Tea Thyme, this one will help aid in digestion and soothe your tummy, which might be why I liked it on my Peanut Butter and Honey sandwich!

This one might take a bit to dissolve so make sure your water is really hot for your tea or whatever beverage you use it for since it is thicker than the others. Otherwise, it's another delicious flavor to try!

Schisandra Berry is one of the more sweeter honeys, or at least it seemed that way to us, so use this one in very small amounts.

Mike really liked this one the best and used it in his concoction he makes of bananas, peanut butter and now Schisandra Berry honey!

He mashes up the bananas and adds peanut butter and makes these sandwiches when he doesn't fell like having anything for dinner or lunch but wants something to tide him over. But, now he is using the honey in the mix for a sweeter taste.

They use organic pomegranate, schisandra berry, and hawthorn to make this unique blend of super foods. It is wonderful for your heart and combined with the healing effects of honey it will add strength to your overall health regime according to Honey Tea Thyme. Please check all information relating to health issues with your doctor to make sure you are doing the right thing. I do have to admit, that this one could very easily take the place of sugar and be better for you!

The Goji Mangosteen is the only one that I couldn't tell if there was another flavor because the honey was so strong that all I tasted was honey. Of course, I haven't ever tried Mangosteen so I am not sure if I would recognize the flavor or not.

But it didn't matter because the honey was so good, I could use it in any of my flavored herbal teas and get that wonderful honey flavor that I have come to love. Of course they are made with organic goji berries and mangosteen. These 2 super foods help to strengthen the immune system, which is pretty much what Honey is all about and you can't go wrong with any of these honeys in my opinion.

Lastly, but one of the best is the Vanilla Spice. If you love the flavor of anything to do with the holidays or wassail, then you will love this one!

Wow, is all I can really say about this one! It has everything you want in that fall/winter flavor for that homey taste that means you have come home to a warm bed and drinking a good cup of vanilla tea that has been spiked with this Vanilla Spice honey will make the ending of a perfect night. It would also be the condiment I would provide at a party for guests instead of sugar because it is an experience that is worth every bit of drama you can add to your party.

If you have ever burnt a Harvest Autumn or any kind of spicy candle, then you will understand the flavors that will be in this honey. One of the best I have tasted in a long time and can stand up to any other type of condiment that you could possibly add to your holiday bash!

I didn't get to try any of the other flavors but I am betting that they are just as great as these 6 were that I got. I did see several others I would love to try and I do hope that you will take the time to go and check them out because it's an experience worth splurging on, especially with the holidays coming up later this year, you can get ahead of the game and have some really awesome tasting surprises for your guests or even better yet, some great unique gifts to give that your friends and family will be thanking you for a very long time to come.
