Taking a Trip This Summer?

Make Time For A Short Break This Summer

It is finally June, which means it is vacation and traveling season! Are you ready? I am! I would love to visit Europe. The architecture is beautiful and there is so much to be learned about the country and everything it offers! Sightseeing is one of the best parts about traveling to a new place, especially out of the country. Stone buildings and castles are particularly interesting because there is always a story behind them.

I am specifically interested in traveling to the heart of Europe and visiting the beautiful capital of the Czech Republic. On a short break in Prague I would be able to see everything I always dreamed of. They have cobblestone roads, and I have heard that the city is small enough to walk the whole thing! Just make sure you wear comfortable shoes!

There is a medieval bridge and the famous Astronomical Clock! Every hour on the hour, from 8am to 8pm, wooden saints emerge from trap doors, while below them, a lesson in medieval morality is enacted by Greed, Vanity, Death and the Turk. That is pretty neat!  If you like staying in hotels and trying out new foods and restaurants, this is the trip for you. I love experiencing different cultures and their local cuisine. The three main foods you will find in Prague are pork, dumplings, and cabbage. Some other popular dishes are roast beef, roast chicken, and spicy cured meats.

Prague is also known for having the best beer around. Lager is the main drink here, and apparently it’s pretty good! So if you like to drink, definitely check out the breweries on your trip! Alongside having the best beer around, there are bakeries full of delicious pastries, breads, and other desserts. One last thing to check out is the puppet show! You can find them all over the city! You can even purchase your own puppet.
