PRO Compression Marathon Sock Review + Giveaway**Closed**

I have some really awesome socks to share with you today from a company called Pro Compression and the name of the socks are their Marathan Socks. I chose to do the black ones for my review because the majority of my pants are black and it just made sense to me. I almost got a little crazy and went for the neon colors that they have, but the voice of reason won out.

Main Features:
  • Full-length, graduated compression design for maximum blood flow
  • Non-slip design, even after hours on your feet
  • Lightweight construction for incredible feel
  • Blended materials provide maximum comfort and support
  • Moisture control keeps you dry during your biggest efforts
  • Made in USA

I know by now most of you know that I have RA and Fibromyalgia, so anytime I can get something that might help with either of those, I am willing to try. Plus I do sit a good bit here on the computer and in general because of my back and shoulder pain. Graduated compression is shown to help increase blood flow in the legs which helps reduce lactic acid and helps you to recover faster and feel less fatigue.

So, I wanted to make sure that I wasn't hurting my circulation even though I get up regularly and walk around and play with Charlie, our Yorkie. I also have an incumbent bike I ride several times a week, but still wanted to be on the safe side.
Description of socks:
Experience maximum benefit with the Marathon full-length, graduated compression sock. True graduated compression technology improves blood flow, resulting in better, more consistent performance with less fatigue and faster recovery. In addition to improving vascular performance, Marathon compression socks support critical areas, muscles and tendons and help reduce inflammation, swelling and soreness.
I am using their image of what the sock looks like on because mine kept coming out blurry and this way you get a clear picture of what they should look like. You can get these socks in the colors of white, pink, purple, royal blue, powder blue, lime, stars & stripes, red, white & blue stripes, black with red & blue dots, neon green with pink and lastly mj neon pink with stars. Your size options are below in the chart.
These socks are very tight so even I was smart enough to get the Large/XLarge and I am glad that I did because they fit very snugly and because I have short legs, these came up over my knees. I had to fold them down just a bit to get them back under the knee, but the main thing I wanted to get across is that even the Large size provided all the compression I needed.
I would recommend wearing at night because they can get a little hot, or at least it did for me. My husband says I freeze him because the air stays on 70 but honestly, if it doesn't, I burn up! I did love the fact that my legs felt better after wearing them for a few hours before bedtime and then I didn't have the problems I sometimes have with my legs feeling tight while I try to sleep.

About Pro Compression:
Crazy as this may sound, since birth you might say I’ve been a bit of a "sock freak." Growing up, the average lifespan of my cotton socks was a matter of weeks. Once they lost that new feeling or started balling up in the heel or toe, they were history.

Without even realizing and by no fault of my own, I’d become a sock snob. Over the years I turned into an “enthusiast,” which lead me on a mission to create the perfect performance sock!

The idea for creating the perfect compression socks for everyday life was a combination of two things:  endurance sports (Triathlons & Marathons) and a lifelong love of the gentleman’s game. When not in the office, I found myself either training, racing or recovering. As the years passed by, I quickly learned that the recovery process is a true science and instantly fell in love with compression clothing and the benefits it provided.

Compression socks have become commonplace for endurance athletes, but still haven’t become the norm for everyday activities.  We continue to work every day, sharing the benefits that compression apparel can offer.

The awesome folks at Pro Compression will be giving one winner their own choice of colors for a pair of Marathon Socks. Open in the U.S. only. Good Luck Everyone!
