I have a lovely new romance book called Meant To Be Mine written by Becky Wade to share with you today.
Ty Porter has always been irresistible to Celia Park. All through high school–irresistible. When their paths cross again after college–still irresistible. This time, though, Ty seems to feel exactly the same way about Celia. Their whirlwind romance deposits them at a street-corner Las Vegas wedding chapel.
The next morning they wake to a marriage certificate and a dose of cold reality. Celia’s ready to be Ty’s wife, but Ty’s not ready to be her husband. He’s a professional bull rider, he lives on the road, and he’s long planned to settle down with the hometown girl he’s known since childhood.
Five and a half years pass. Celia’s buried her dreams so that she can afford to raise her daughter. Ty’s achieved all of his goals. Or thought he had, until he looks again into the eyes of the woman he couldn’t forget and into the face of the child he never knew he had.
How much will Ty sacrifice to win back Celia’s trust and prove to her that their spontaneous marriage can still become the love of a lifetime? My Thoughts:
We all make mistakes when we are young and I know because I made my share and it's hard sometimes to live down some of them that seem to follow you no matter where you go in your life. A few days left Ty and Celia broken and Ty makes a huge mistake but not the one he thinks he is making but one that will cost him later on.
We never see the future coming and we sometimes aren't prepared for it but if we truly followed our heart and quit thinking with our minds a lot of times, I think we might end up where we were suppose to be all along. It sure would save a lot of time and pain, but sometimes it's necessary to grow up and be the good person you need to be to recognize when you have made a mistake and to make it right.
This is a good book showing that example and it might just get some people to thinking, which is a good thing. Just be careful that you are following your heart and not lust, which is a totally different thing!
