Cheryl Lee MD Sensitive Skin Care Review & Giveaway**Cllosed**

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

You are going to love these new products that I have been trying for the last few weeks if you have dry skin like I do or have sensitive skin that needs moisture! They are from Cheryl Lee MD and I am going to tell you about three products that I got to try and will show you some photo's that I hope will tell the story even better than I can in words.
Here is what I got to review:
1.)  TrueLipids Perfecting Lotion
2.)  TrueLipids Skin Protectant
3.)  TrueLipids Ceramide & Cream
Let's start with the Perfecting Lotion that hydrates, corrects and perfects the face and body. This lotion is actually for all skin types. If you have Dry Skin, Fine Lines & Wrinkles, Eyelid Dermatitis or Eczema-prone Skin , then you will love using this product. It helps the skin restore an effective skin barrier without redness, itching and scale because it is formulated especially for those who have highly allergic skin.
It is also a wonderful moisturizer and barrier repair lotion for those with eczema which is why it's perfect for eczema, but its lipid replacement system with Ceramide 3 and phytosphingosine is what helps you if you have fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. The niacinamine and extract from licorice root found in the lotion are anti-inflammatories and the gluconolactone acts as an anti-oxidant with free-radical scavenging benefits.

It is a really fast absorbing lotion that I loved using on my face particularly. It is a white lotion that is light and not heavy to the touch. I have used lotions and moisturizers in the past that were heavy and felt very oily and made my face shine. This one does none of that!
Also, it had no scent so if you are sensitive to scents like I am, this was a major deal for me. I have used products in the past that made my eyes burn and water but this one did not. I couldn't be more pleased and this was definitely one of my very favorite products!
Directions: Apply to face or body 1-2 times a day or as needed to help maintain healthy, clear, smooth and beautiful skin. You will love how it balances and maintains healthy, clear, smooth and beautiful looking skin!
The Skin Protectant is going to be one of your all time favorites if you have very dry and cracked hands or feet like I do. More so the feet and that is primarily what I used this particular product for because the bottom of my feet and the heels get so cracked that the skin actually will peel or hang until I exfoliate it off. I have to do this sometimes twice a week but since using this product, I don't have to do it as often. Now, when I say exfoliate, I mean just like what they do when you get a pedicure, I have to use that callous removing instrument and run it up and down the feet and heels.
There is quite a long list of conditions that it helps treat, so please follow the link I provided and see if this is something that could help you. I can tell you that from reading about it on their website that it seems to be a very good ointment for those with Eczema, so if you have that, you might want to really look into this particular product.
Four main benefits:
- The most effective product for helping to keep moisture inside the skin while reducing inflammation caused from dry skin conditions
- Enjoyed by all ages and skin types: babies, toddlers, children, teenagers, and adults
- A soothing and protective ointment that does not burn or sting.
- A healthy skin barrier protects from irritating chemicals, allergens, and bacteria

How does it work?

Dry, cracked, itchy and eczema-prone skin occurs when skin lipid levels are unbalanced and depleted. With TrueLipids® Relieve & Protect Ointment, Cholesterol Esters, Ceramide 3, Ceramide Precursors, and Very Long Chain Fatty Acids are added to the layers of skin where they are needed to help repair the skin and create a healthy, effective, skin barrier.

Water-loss inhibitors like isostearyl isostearate, paraffin wax, microcrystalline wax and candelilla wax found in this product help retain moisture inside the skin and leave your skin feeling amazingly soft, smooth and natural. An extract from licorice root helps calm inflammation and doubles as a skin brightener.

Okay, there are different directions for what skin condition you have so you will need to go and read them because some are a little too long for me to put it all here, but it's worth reading so just use the link I provided for this product and then click on directions. I will give you the ones for Dry Skin, because that is what I followed.

Dry and Itchy Skin: Apply as many times daily as needed to keep skin feeling hydrated, healthy and happy. Works especially well when applied right after a shower or bath. Now, this is a very heavy ointment, so I used a special pair of socks or you can use spa socks if you have them. I did this to keep the ointment on the bottom of my feet instead of it ending up on the carpet or sheets of my bed. I did this mostly at night and in the morning, my feet were soft and smooth to the touch. I would recommend doing the same thing for hands. Put on some lightweight cotton gloves to keep the ointment on so that it doesn't come off.

Lastly, I have this one that really showed the most improvement right away. I used this all over my body, especially the legs and arms. This is the TrueTherapy Ceramide & Cream and it's a deep moisturizer for dry skin and I have to admit, it sure did feel awesome on my skin!

Let me explain why my skin is so dry. I have RA, which is inflammation of the body and because my RA is so aggressive, all the known RA medications have failed. Right now I have nothing I can take to get my levels of inflammation down and until a new therapy comes along, I am without any help with my RA. I also have Hypothyroidism, which is another reason my skin is dry and even before I developed RA, I had dry skin but never at this level. I am going to show you some photo's of my legs so that you can see how bad it got before I started using this product.

As you can see, it's pretty bad. And that is like this pretty much all over my body in certain spots. If I wear black or other dark clothes, when I take them off, they are covered in the dry skin that came off while I was wearing my clothes. To say it's embarrassing is an understatement. I stay away from any dark bras for that reason because it's too embarrassing to go to the doctor or to get my mammograms and there is this bra filled with dead skin.

Now, here is what is looked like after using for about a week:

I tried to get closer like I did with the other pictures, but then my skin just looked blurry or reddish purple. I still have a small red dry patch on one side but it's a lot better now. I can't possibly brag about this Ceramide & Cream therapy enough! If you have dry skin as bad as mine, this will be a miracle and even if it's slightly less or you just need a good moisturizer to keep from itching, you will still love this product!

Additional benefits of Ingredients found in TrueLipids® Cream:
- Contains an extract from licorice root which is an anti-inflammatory and skin brightener
- Has Niacinamide which has been shown to benefit dry skin, eczema-prone skin, cutaneous lupus, rosacea, aging skin and more
- PH-protect™, found in this cream, also aids in optimizing the skin’s microenvironment AND Ceramide Production.
- The Anti-oxidant gluconolactone found in the cream may help prevent the effects of free-radical damage
- 18-B Glycyrrhetinic Acid (from licorice root) is anti-inflammatory and brightener giving you smooth, bright, and healthy skin.
Directions: Apply two or more times daily as needed to maintain a moisturized and healthy skin barrier. This product is especially effective when applied right after a shower or bath. I used it about 2 times a day except for a few times in the beginning I did 3 times but more for the relief of the itching.
They do have other products that you can choose from depending on what you need. For instance, if you have really bad eczema and the ointment that I described above in the Perfecting Lotion doesn't quite do it, then use this product also: TrueLipids® Eczema Experts™ Anti-Itch 1% Hydrocortisone Barrier Cream.
There is one product that I would especially love to have myself because I am bad to burn myself sometimes when I touch a baking dish or something that hasn't cooled down yet and get a burn and that is the TrueLipids® Double Action Boo-Boo & Bum Balm. But, it's also suppose to be great for diaper rashes also. So, if you have a baby that doesn't respond well to other ointments, I would definitely try this one. It can help with cuts, scrapes and burns beside the diaper rash. This balm is truly non-toxic and hypoallergenic. Whether it’s caring for yourself, a loved one, or your little baby, this balm is the very best option for safe and effective treatment and care.
My readers will get a 10% off of Cheryl Lee MD products by using this link to order. If by some chance you end up being the winner and you had already bought something, they will refund your money.
Also, they have a 30-day money back guarantee so there is no risk in trying it. If it doesn’t work, they can just send it back and we’ll refund them. Yes, it will be slightly higher than what you get at the drugstore, but here is where the 30 day money back guarantee works, if you aren't satisfied that it works right for you or your family, then just return it and you get a refund.
