BFAST Breakfast Shakes Review & Giveaway**Closed**

I got to try some really interesting new breakfast shakes called BFAST from General Mills that were actually pretty darn good! Back when I used to work, I was very bad about skipping breakfast because I had at least a 45 minute to an hour drive to work in some of the worst traffic here in North Georgia going towards Atlanta, so I only had time to get ready and head on out the door. I bet a lot of you do that also.
The problem was, though, once I got to work, I was starving and sometimes ended up eating something I grabbed at the convenience store along with a tall coffee or someone from the office would bring in doughnuts or bagels. And that was not good at all! But, now you can have a very good breakfast with the new BFAST shakes!
Why? Well, because inside each shake is enough nutrition that you would have gotten from a bowl of cereal, your milk and you get 8 grams of Protein, 8 grams of whole grain and 3 grams of fiber in each shake! You can get Chocolate, Vanilla and Strawberry. The best part is that it's only 180 calories per each 8 fluid ounces for the Chocolate flavor.
I do have to admit that it was my very favorite of all three flavors, but I am kind of a chocolate girl anyway. But, I also like the fact that there is <5 grams of Cholesterol in each shake.
I know it's hard to see all the words on this picture but it also has a lot of other vitamins and minerals added to this shake to help you get some of your daily requirements. I am especially pleased about the fiber part as I know I don't get enough of that!
I also did like the Vanilla flavor also and it has a little bit less calories, which is 150 but still has all the other same grams as far as fiber, protein and whole grains. Oh, and one other important detail: you can find them in the cereal aisle!
So, No, they are not in the fridge section. They are on the same shelves as the cereals but as soon as I got mine, I put them I the fridge so they would be ice cold when I got ready to drink them. It's really up to you if you want them in the fridge or not.
Now, Mike is the berry man in the family, so I left this one to him. This one also has just 150 calories. So, it's only the chocolate BFAST that is slightly higher. I will tell you another reason why these are so handy, for one, they can be put in a backpack, in your oversized handbag or anything else that is big enough to carry for either you or your children so that when you get ready for breakfast, regardless of where you are, it's right there!
So, no matter which flavor is your favorite, I think you will be mighty pleased with these shakes. They really did fill me up and they really did taste pretty good, too, so for me, that is a win-win situation because with my stomach issues, there are some days, I just can't eat solid food and this is a great alternative!
Did you know this about General Mills?
Starting with two flour mills in the 1860s, General Mills revolutionized the milling industry, producing flour with superior baking properties.
