I have to admit I am mesmerized by crystal vases! I love the beauty in them and when my husband brings home roses for me, usually on my birthday, our anniversary and some holidays I admit it thrills me to drag out my collection and I put the roses in one of them and pray that they last a whole week so I can admire my beautiful vases.
One of the places that you can get really unique and beautiful crystal pieces is at Waterford. And did you know that right now they have a special going on for free shipping? Check it out:

I also love the color blue in case you didn't notice. But to be fair, my kitchen is done in blue and white. And not just any blue, it has to be cobalt blue. I think that color is so beautiful and pure looking. I have a friend who loves hers in that real bright red and in her house it looks awesome but if I tried to do that, it would be a disaster.
We do visit flea markets, antique stores and yard sales and do find some pieces that way too, especially if it's an estate sale, then you can really pick up some amazing crystal pieces. However you get them, they are worth the patience that it takes to acquire them because they do add such beauty to your home.
If you haven't looked into getting a few crystal pieces, I suggest starting out small and work your way up. Crystal is something that can become a family heirloom passed down from one generation to another.
