Chamberlain's Leather Milk Care Liniment Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I have a new product to share with you, especially if you have wood furniture that you are trying to keep from getting dirty or ruined. I just bought some new living room furniture or I guess I should say "we" bought some new furniture for our 15th Anniversary, so I definitely will be doing whatever I can to keep it looking as new as possible. I have always chosen the light colors but for the first time ever, I went with the cherry color. I have always hated dusting and that is why I stayed away from it for so long but this furniture was just so freaking beautiful, I just couldn't pass it up!

I was sent this Leather Milk #1 Leather Liniment to review and I really must say, I was quite impressed! This Leather Care Liniment is a milky, water-based emulsion containing some awesome leather enriching ingredients. It also contains oils that can be described as ‘lighter’ rather than ‘heavier’ oil types; and, because the product is water-based, it can also work as a mild cleaner. Which is what I did. I like to do both at the same time and this product worked out well for that. So, I cleaned and polished at the same time.
Main Features:
  • Originally formulated for Saddleback Leather Company leather products, Leather Care Liniment No. 1 is a combination of rich, natural conditioners plus a gentle cleaner.
  • Leather Care Liniment No. 1 may be used as often as desired to clean and refresh leather items such as bags, luggage, purses, shoes, boots, saddle/tack, leather apparel.
  • Chamberlain's Leather Milk products are safe products to use because they are all natural. No chemicals here!
  • Includes a FREE leather conditioner applicator pad for best results!
  • Do not use on suede or extremely soft leather type products.

  • It does come with it's own leather conditioner applicator pad, which I found to be very helpful. I remember once way back when I was in my 20's and didn't know much about living by myself and I made the mistake of using something that I didn't think would matter to polish something and it left some of the most awful light scratches all over the surface. So, ever since then, I make sure what kind of pad I need to be using. No more guessing!

Do not for use on suede or extremely soft leather types. I am not sure why but that is what it says on the bottle, so don't do it. However, you can use it for bags, shoes, boots, luggage, purses, saddle/tack and leather apparel. It can also be used on leather furniture, luxurious auto interiors, leather briefcases and motorcycle gear. They have other products to choose from if you need something else.

Do make sure that you keep out of the reach of children. This is not a product that should be played with.

    About Chamberlain:
Chamberlain’s story begins with Chamberlain’s Shipping Inc., a shipping and fulfillment company for quality leather items out of Fort Worth, Texas. Dennis and Patricia Chamberlain began shipping and fulfilling Saddleback Leather Company orders in 2007. As Saddleback grew, so did the shipping company.
Because they were also handling quality control for Saddleback, they wanted every Saddleback piece to be lightly conditioned before being shipped out. The Chamberlain’s scoured the market looking for the perfect leather conditioner to use.
They wanted something that was natural to ensure the health and safety of their employees as well as the environment. They also wanted something that wouldn’t change the leather. After searching high and low and coming up empty, they decided to develop their own leather care recipe, and Chamberlain’s Leather Milk was born!
