I have a really awesome book to tell you about today called Catnapped written by Patricia Fry and if you are a cat lover or even a dog lover, this book will delight you and give you a few chuckles along the way!
A cozy mystery featuring a kleptomaniac cat. Beloved neighborhood cats are missing—the community can only guess at their fate—and Aunt Margaret’s life is being threatened.
Is it because she has a clue to the missing cats or is it something more sinister? Of course, as in all of the Klepto Cat Mysteries, Rags, an ordinary cat with a most unusual habit, has a paw in saving the day.

Of course, as in all of the Klepto Cat Mysteries, Rags, an ordinary cat with a most unusual habit, has a paw in saving the day. This starts out as a visit to her Aunt Margaret when she breaks a bone in her foot but upon arriving, they both notice that cats are starting to disappear. And of course, with Savannah being a Vet, she jumps right in to help solve the mystery!
This book does have quiet a few laughable moments and it is a light & cozy little mystery but the underlying issue is a serious one. These two men were actually stealing cats and horses come to find out because they were going to ship them off to Canada where a plant was going to make dog food out of them! So, while it's a good book with a good story, be aware that these things do happen.
Other than that, I loved this book and it's lovely story as this is not just about cats being kidnapped. The author threw in several romances into the mix and even a wedding down the line! So, you get two stories combined into one: a mystery and a love story!
Enjoy this entertaining and very witty book about how cats or dogs can warm the heart and get you ready for love!
