Brazilian Keratin Smoothing System Review

I recently got to try something new for my hair. As you guys know I have very curly hair and if I did not blow it dry straight or use the flat iron, it would actually almost be kinky. But, with great products like the one I am about to tell you about, I am able to have my hair straight when I want to and not when Mother Nature wants it! The product is called  Zelo Brazilian Keratin Smoothing System.

Here is my hair before I used Zelo's Brazilian Keratin Smoothing System:

And then this is after I used the system.  Zelo delivers total frizz and curl control for up to 30 washes. The rich blend of oils, vitamins and organic proteins delivers sleek and shiny salon results at home.

What a difference, huh? I really loved using this product and so will you if you have curly or frizzy hair that needs taming. I love the way my hair feels now. It's so soft and smooth. My husband said it feels like silk! I have had such dry hair for awhile because of all the medications I am on and because of the Hypothyroid, so this was a big deal for me. And it's so amazing that this treatment only has to be put on once a month!

Each kit contains: (2 oz.) Clarifying Shampoo, (2 oz.) Action Keratin, (1) extra sprayer, gloves and directions.

Directions:

*Wash your hair with the Clarifying Deep Cleanser (bottle marked Step 1) and then towel dry your hair.

*Then you will spray the Keratin Smoothing Solution (bottle marked Step 2) onto your hair and leave on for 45 minutes.

*You will then shampoo your hair again using the Clarifying Deep Cleanser (one time) and then blow dry your hair. Next use the flat iron to seal the cuticles.

Here is some other types of hair that works with this product so you can see it's not just my hair, but other types as well. There is also a video on Zelo's website showing you how to use these products if you are a little nervous and want to actually see it before you try it.

I grabbed a couple of questions and answers for you guys in case you need some clarifications:
Q: Should the hair be colored and/or highlighted before or after the treatment?
We suggest that permanent, demi and semi permanent color and/or highlights be done before the treatment.  This will allow the treatment to seal in the color leaving it rich and vibrant.
Q: Can Zelo be done on chemically treated, relaxed or straightened hair?
Yes, but it is recommended to wait a week between treatments.
Q: How does Zelo differ from a permanent straightener/relaxer?
There is no thio or lye chemical in Zelo; therefore there is no risk of chemical damage.
Q: Can the treatment be done on pregnant or nursing women?
It is not recommended for pregnant or nursing women. We suggest that you check with your physician before doing any treatment to your hair.
They also recommend that you use their products for after care so that you are getting the most out of using this kit. If you can't do that, then they recommend using salt & sulfate free shampoo & conditioner. I know I have seen these around, so you shouldn't have too much trouble locating them. Also, Zelo products are sold online at Walgreens and Drugstore.com.
