Dancing With Fireflies Book Review

I have a new book to share with you today called Dancing With Fireflies written by Denise Hunter.
Jade returns home to Chapel Springs after years of protecting her fragile heart. Then along comes Daniel, making her long to dance again.
Creative and complicated, Jade McKinley felt like a weed in a rose garden growing up in Chapel Springs. When she left, she thought she'd never look back. But now, pregnant, alone, and broke, she has no other choice but to return.
The mayor of Chapel Springs, Daniel Dawson, has been an honorary member of the McKinley family for years. While his own home life was almost non-existent, Daniel fit right into the boisterous McKinley family. He's loved Jade for years, but she always saw him as a big brother. Now that she's back, his feelings are stronger than ever.
As Jade attempts to settle in, nothing feels right. God seems far away, she's hiding secrets from her family, and she's strangely attracted to the man who's always called her "squirt." Finding her way home may prove more difficult than she imagined.
This started out to be a tragedy for Jade in more ways than one. She leaves one tragedy behind her thinking the new town will be good for her and all she does is go from the frying pan into the fire.

Back she goes home to live with her sister and that is when her life changes for the better. I always tell people that it is when you stop trying so hard is when things will come and this story just proved that theory. Jade finally finds the happiness and love that she has so longed for. Of course, it doesn't come easy and there are obstacles planted here and there, but for her and Daniel, if they truly love each other, the rest will come.

This is a really good book to read and if you are a true romantic at heart, this book will delight you. I am pleased that they showed that love does win out in the end if you just have enough faith and believe in what you have!

Happy Reading!
