Rabana Crisps Review

I have another awesome snack food that I think you are really going to love! They are called Rabana Crisps and if you love Banana Bread or Banana Muffins, then you are going to flip over these awesome crisps!
*All Natural
*No Preservatives
*Lactose Free (excluding Chocolate Chip)
*No Hydrogenated Oils
*0g Trans Fat
*No Artificial Colors or Flavors
*Baked - Never Fried
See, didn't I tell you that they look just like banana bread?  They are very crispy and crunchy so they won't be soft like banana bread but other than that, they sure could have fooled you with just photo's to go on. As you can see, it is full of goodies. The pecans were awesome and I love that they used pecans because they are my favorite kind of nut in sweet recipes.

Here is what is inside this great little treat:
Whole naturally ripened bananas, white flour, brown sugar, pecans, whole eggs, canola oil, baking soda, pure vanilla extract, and sea salt.
Oh, they use bananas that have been rescued! I know, I know, that sounds sort of weird. I thought the same thing when I first read that. I decided to go over and figure out what they meant by that.
Here is why they use rescued bananas:
When bananas begin to get spotted and brown on produce shelves, grocery stores will eventually throw them out in the garbage.  Since good banana bread is only made with naturally very ripe bananas, we rescue those poor bananas that would otherwise be sent to the dumps and go to waste.  Rescued bananas are only a part of our commitment to responsible and sustainable food choices for our families and yours.
Finally attaining her greatest wish to become banana bread and then baked again to be exhalted and become a crunchy, delicious, and healthy Rabana Crisp snack!
They have recently added another flavors since I got the Original flavor and it's the Chocolate Chip Banana Bread. That sounds pretty good also, so if you love having a little bit of chocolate in your banana bread, it will go just as great in the crisp!

In the next few months they will be coming out with three more flavors and I really like these, especially the coconut mango ones! They took two of my absolute favorite flavors, coconut and mangoes and put them into one crisp. I am going to be in heaven. I do love lemon & poppy seed also. Take a look at what goodies they have in store for us.

About Rabana Crisps:
Rabana Crisps have been made for years by a mom looking to provide a satisfying and healthy snack for her children, including one who refuses to eat bananas, that she couldn't find at the grocery store.  As the bananas she had bought for her family to eat became "over ripe" and brown she would save them in the freezer.
Eventually, when she had collected enough, she made a large batch of banana bread loaves.  In order to make her banana bread healthier she used more fruit, but less sugar and oil.  However her family couldn't keep up with her ambitious baking and the bread would go stale before all of it could be eaten.  In an effort to reduce waste, she had the idea to slice the loaves and bake those slices again in the oven.
What came out was a treat even better than the bread.  Over time the recipe was perfected and now, as anyone who has tasted a Rabana Crisps can tell you, THEY ARE AMAZING!
