My Hikes Review

I have a new product for Moms that you are really going to appreciate! It will save you some time and if you don't know how to sew, then it will really be a life saver! They are called My Hikes and they are a shortcut to hemming up pants when you don't have time to sew them up or you don't know how. They are easy to use and super fast to fix. Just watch the above video for specific directions and you will be all set!

I got these cute Butterfly ones to review and I have to admit that my very forgetful husband forgot to take them with him the weekend he went to visit his brother and his family. I had gotten them for our niece who is growing like a weed to use and after he left I went to get something in the kitchen and there they sat on the kitchen counter! I just about had a heart attack! So, I had to mail them this past week to her, but decided I better not wait for pictures because of his forgetfulness, I am running behind and did not want to hinder this review.
I did talk with her mother over the phone to see how they worked and she said they were awesome and that my niece was getting all kinds of compliments on them. She was very excited about them and thought that she might order another pair or two in some different themes to have around. She did ask about the Princess ones but I believe those are on backorder so she may not be able to get those right away.

They have six different ones to choose from and like I mentioned the Princess ones are out of stock right now but you can get these:  Butterfly, Flower, Soccer Ball, Train, Baseball and Dump Truck. Below is the Princess that everyone wants but is out of stock right now. You can see why a little girl would want that one!

What will they do?
1) Size transitions: Previous size is embarrassingly short, but the next size starts out too long
2) Pants preservation: Kids are "walking off the hems" of that brand new pair of pants and driving mom crazy.
3) Capri style:  Kids can shorten pants to get a capri look or for practical reasons such as water play.
4) All weather:  Pants can be lifted off the ground when rain and snow might dampen the hem as kids splash through puddles and muck.  We all know a wet hem takes forever to dry!

See how cute they look? It is the perfect way to hold up those hems while they grow into their jeans or pants or if they want to make them into capri's. I think this is a really great idea and too bad I didn't think of it! I can remember all those times that I tried to sew them up myself or used safety pins to hold them into place! God forbid they showed!
These would make great stocking stuffers in their stockings or you might want to think about getting some for your kids if they are in that growing phase and with the winter coming soon, this would save them from getting frayed at the ends of their jeans if they drag into the mud, snow and water! I bet you have other idea's that these might come in handy for that is unique to your child and how they play.

About My Hikes:
Dani Schlesinger studied advertising at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She enjoyed living in Chicago for 14 years where she met her husband, had two children and conceived the idea for My Hikes™. She now loves living in Austin, Texas where she is launching My Hikes™ and enjoying a little more sunshine.
Dani's career began in strategic planning working for major advertising agencies in Chicago. After 5 years, she wanted to try working more independently so she became a real estate agent. Soon after she established herself, she was featured on HGTV's House Hunters.
Dani's inspiration to create My Hikes™ came from struggles she experienced as a working mom and as a rising star in the residential real estate world of Chicago. The more successful she was, the more nights and weekends she spent away from her family dealing with clients. She used to think to herself, "If only I could think of a widget to create, I could work on that during the day and still spend evenings and weekends with my family.
And then it happened. One cold Chicago day, she couldn't keep her 2 year old son Henry's cuffed pants from falling down, getting under the heels of his socked feet, and causing him to slip. She searched the internet for a kids' pant-clip. Surely there is a solution for this, she thought. She found no pant-clips on the internet for kids, but a new business idea was born that day.
