I hope that my pictures do this Trio of Animal Ornaments from World Vision justice! I don't have the best camera in the world and when you have something this beautiful, it really is a shame when I can't capture the beautiful work that these fine artists did. I got these three ornaments to review and they are an elephant, giraffe and a water buffalo.
Let's take them separately and I hope these pictures will be better. Let's start with the Elephant.
The Giraffe was the hardest one to get to focus and I am not sure why. But finally, I got the one on the right which is a side view to come in a little more sharper so you can see the detail in his tail really good I hope. The front shot I was trying to get the ears and the horns. He stands at 4" x 1½".
And then lastly is the Water Buffalo and I think he has the most detail of the three and shows you just what this artist is really capable of doing with these wires! He stands at 2 7/10 " x 2½".

We are a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the root causes of poverty and injustice.
Working in nearly 100 countries around the world, we serve all people, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender. You really need to watch this video to understand what World Vision is doing:
World Vision's Impact:
Poverty is complex, and so are our solutions.
With 44,000 staff members worldwide, we bring sponsors and donors alongside children and communities in nearly 100 countries. The map below shows our work across issues — from health to disaster response — integrating lasting solutions to the root causes of poverty and sharing God’s hope for a brighter future. And we stretched donations with grants and corporate gifts-in-kind to make every dollar donated achieve $1.30 in impact. They impact the world thru Clean Water, Education, Child Protection, Disaster Response, Economic Development, Health, Food & Agriculture, U.S. Work and Faith In Action. You can go to their website and on the very bottom of the home page, each of these has a link to each section so you can learn more about each one. I am so sorry I don't have a big enough blog to list each and every thing that they do, so please take the time to learn something about them.
You can also sponsor a child if you choose to help in that way also. Here is what that will do:
For about $1 a day, you'll provide children in need with access to life-saving basics like:
- Clean water
- Nutritious food
- And more!
You can also go check out their Gift Catalog Video on how buying a gift works and how it helps. In the past year, they used 85% of their total operating expenses for programs that directly benefit children, families, and communities. Only 10% goes back in Fundraising and 5% goes to Management. I would say that is a pretty darn percentage rate of success!
