Shabby Apple Vintage Dresses Review

I didn't get this dress but decided to start with it because it has been featured in a magazine and I wanted to show you that Shabby Apple is indeed getting noticed all around the country. They have some really remarkable dresses, including their vintage clothing.  The one above is called I'm Late, I'm Late. Looks a really beautiful Sunday dress or Wedding or Party. Love the color.
I got a dress that was called The Truman and it was solid black and has a cowl neck. I have to admit that I didn't take any pictures of me wearing it because it was for my daughter and I didn't realize that the dress would not be on the website when I got ready to do my review. But, I did scour their Pinterest page and finally found a model wearing the Truman dress! Yeah! So here is what it looks like:

I know for some reason it looks a little brown, maybe because of the tree but it really is black. My daughter added a nice short jacket with her dress to make it more office casual and she has already gotten a really heavy cable cardigan in white to wear with it this winter with boots. So, this dress can be very versatile all year long!

These dresses go so fast that if you aren't careful, they will be sold out, just like The Truman was! I feel really bad that there is no picture but I an assure you it's a beautiful dress and my daughter is loving it!
Here are a few details:
1) Cowl neck dress with elbow length sleeves and self tie waist
2) Available in black
3) Sleeve hits above elbow and skirt hits just above knee
4) Thick Poly/Rayon blend
5) Machine wash cold and hang to dry

Now, I did grab some pictures of a few dresses that are kind of similar as far as material and the self tie at the wait so you can get an idea of what it looked like. There was no V-Neck because we are both conservative, other than that, the dresses are pretty similar. The top dress is called Applecross and the bottom one is Stone Haven if you want to check them out.

They have a really extensive line of dresses and that is what they are best known for but they do carry some blouses, skirts and bottoms. They also have some shoes and handbags if you need to look around at those also. Just like the top below.
The selection of dresses range from casual to sporty, to dressy to cocktail or weddings. You won't be disappointed in a dress from Shabby Apple. The material is a good quality and my daughter says her dress is holding up better than some department store dresses that cost more than her dress from Shabby Apple.
Here's a few more examples of their dresses:

As you can see, there are a lot of styles of dresses to look over and find something that will amaze you and make you look drop dead gorgeous! I hate to admit it but I do like dark colors better than any other color besides white! But, they make everybody look good and you can wear them year round, so why bother buying dresses twice when once is enough?

Shabby Apple does run sales on their site and you will find two categories. Regular Sales and Deep Discount Sales. Regular Sales is slightly marked down while Deep Discount Sales are about half off or a little more. If the style hasn't gone out, the Deep Discount section would be the best place to shop. And don't forget the shoes and handbags! Look at this cute handbag I found:
