AllyZabba Baby Blanket Review

Isn't that the most adorable baby with the most gorgeous blanket? Well, I can't take any credit for either one of them but I can tell you that the blanket came from a company called AllyZabba and I was sent the exact same blanket that you see above to review.
The blanket is called the Aloha and it is a tribute to the Hawaiian spirit. I didn't pay it much attention at the time I chose it, I was really looking at the colors, not the print, but later on I did realize why they had named it that.
My blanket came in this really cute little package and I have to clarify that I did not get the large one like you see in the picture above. I believe this is the smallest version (16″ x 14″) which is like a travel or lap blanket for a child. I got it for my little niece and that is why I got the pink colors because I knew those were her favorite. They do have a large blanket which is 34″ x 28″ inches.
She has quite a doll collection and I figured if it was too small for her, she could use it for her dolls as a blanket in her make believe family. She has been having a ball with it! She does take it with her when they go places so it does stay in the car quite a bit.
This is a close up of the texture of the pink fluffy side. You can't see that very well in the top picture and it is really what makes the blanket so unique so I wanted to make sure that you got a feel for what it looks like on that side. It can be used either way, which is another plus.  The AllyZabba Aloha is made of raised plush fabric and silky satin backing and is machine washable.
There are a total of (6) different designs so far and each design has several colors that you can get them in. The Aloha only has two colors, the pink and the baby blue. But some of the others have up to 4 color choices. They are all very colorful and unique. Take a look below at some of the designs.

This is Dino AllyZabba
This is Pastel Dot AllyZabba
As you can see, they tried to get a full range of colors and designs but for the most part, they are all kind of retro looking, don't you think? Kind of like a Blast from the Past, vibe! No matter what size you get or what you use your blanket for, it will be loved by all who come into contact with the AllyZabba Baby Blanket. How can you not with all of those cute designs that remind us of our childhood while making new memories for those yet to come?
Why did they choose Silk?
Why do we make all of our baby blankets with a silky fabric on one side?
Babies, especially newborns, love the feel of silk against their skin. We’re not 100% sure why, but we’ve been told that silk is very similar in texture to the lining of the womb! You will probably notice your baby reacting to the soft silky texture right away. Babies cuddle to sleep on a silky blanket like nothing else.
If your newborn needs some extra encouragement, we recommend letting mom use the blanket for a few hours before baby does. The familiar “smell” of mom should complete the illusion for your newborn and help them love their new blanket.
Of course, we also know new parents need a machine washable blanket too so all of our “silky” material is actually a special polyester satin that you can throw them in the wash (cold water please) and then line-dry.

These are so lovely. I want to get one as a lap blanket for my hubby while in his wheelchair. I think these would be awesome for that!
