One Step At A Time Book Review

I have a new book for children to share with you today called One Step At A Time: A Hugo the Happy Starfish story written by Suzy Libermann.
Hugo is a little starfish with a big sense of adventure. One day he finds an empty candy wrapper with a picture of a huge chocolate mountain. Usually when Hugo finds trash in the ocean it upsets him but this time what he found made him curious. Hugo discovers that his chocolate mountain is in fact a real mountain, which is called the Matterhorn and is located in Switzerland.
He decides to set off on a journey to find this mountain – a huge challenge for a little starfish!
Okay, I have to admit that I overlooked that this was an ebook review and didn't realize it until it was too late and I couldn't back out. I can't tell you too much about this book but I have reviewed hard copies of other Hugo The Happy Starfish. These are a series of books that have a different message in each one.

But the concept is the same in that Hugo is always looking for the next adventure and while he is doing that, he learns something new each and every time. Hugo is determined to explore the world and find out what's going on around him and he takes your children right along with him on his journeys and the lessons he learns.

The pictures in all of the books is amazing and they will capture your child's imagination, without a doubt, some of the brightest, most brilliant pictures I have seen in a children's book.
And like I said, they will always have a positive message to bring to your child. This one happens to be "Don't Give Up" or in the one below, "Commitment".  Hugo helps your children learn about feelings and how to deal with things that come up unexpectedly.
Hugo learns to take one step at a time and to enjoy the journey as much as the destination. Join Hugo as he finds the secret of perseverance when the road gets difficult.
ONE STEP AT A TIME is a story about the need for perspective, whatever mountains we face.
This book is the perfect way to each kids to divide big challenges into little chunks and to take things one step at a time.

An excellent teaching tool to teach COMMITMENT and TRANSPORTATION.

About the Author:
A native of Germany and former resident of the Dominican Republic, Mexico, the Islands of the Bahamas and Switzerland, Suzy Liebermann—now living in the USA—has travelled the world in pursuit of language, art, and culture.
Having found it, she now shares it with the world’s teachers, parents, and children through educational literature. Leveraging her decades of global experience teaching in German, Spanish, French, and English with a degree in foreign language translation and a master’s degree in business management and international business, she launched Happy Language Kids Publications in 2010 as an interactive language learning program for children and their young-at-heart elders.
This program is particularly aligned with the aims and values she upheld as a teacher of cultural art and foreign language at a prestigious International Baccalaureate World School.
Believing that happiness can be learned, feelings can be understood and that building character based on a positive attitude leads to happy, content, self-confident and successful human beings, I have created this exciting series of charming books about HUGO THE HAPPY STARFISH.
