Woolzies Dryer Balls Review

Now, I have to tell you something, I am all for making laundry simple and quick so when I was asked to review Woolzies Dryer Balls, you better believe I jumped at the offer! I mean really, who wouldn't? Just toss a ball into the dryer and walk away plus it can be used several times before it's all used up! Now, with dryer sheets, once is it and with liquids, the same thing, you certainly can't make it spit back the liquid softener, can you?
Here are some of the benefits:
**They last 1,000 loads!
**100% Eco-Friendly
**Noise Free
**Saves Energy
**Softens Naturally
**Reduces Drying Time by 25%
**Helps Eliminate Wrinkles
**Helps Reduce Static
**100% Safe for people with Wool Sensitivities
**PVC Free
**Won't Melt or Fall apart on you
**They Ship Worldwide!
**Chemical Free
**Free Shipping in U.S. including Alaska & Hawaii
You will get 6 of these XL balls in each box that you order. I also found out that these are from New Zealand wool dryer balls that are handmade! So, these babies have travelled a good bit to help us out with our laundry and I was very excited to be chosen as one of the ones to give it a try.
I was reading over their FAQ section and two questions and the answers really grabbed my attention so I wanted to share them with you:
Q4: Why are WOOLZIES better than rubber/plastic/tennis balls in the dryer?

A: Rubber and plastic balls are made from harsh chemicals including PVCs which are released onto your laundry by the hot dryer air. Not only are these types of dryer balls dangerous to your health, they are toxic to the environment as well. Additionally, the harsh tumbling action of rubber, plastic and tennis balls can damage your dryer's sensitive electronic sensors. Finally, some of these types of balls may even melt slightly and cause fabric staining.
Q5: Why do the dryer balls seem to each vary slightly in size, shape and texture?

A: Our dryer balls are completely handmade. They are not mass produced by machine. Therefore you will notice variations in size, color and texture.
P.S. Did you know that many commercial dryer liquids and sheets contain chemicals that destroy the fire retardant qualities of children's and adult's clothing?!
I thought those two questions including the answers were mind boggling! I know we are all getting a lot of information thrown at us about chemicals these days so I have been trying a little bit harder than I used to and am trying to buy products that I know will be better for my family and for this planet, I hope.

I also like that they have a Money Back Guarantee if each wool dryer ball doesn't last at least 1,000 loads! Now, I don't know about you, but that is a pretty good deal. I like that they put their mouth where their money is and made it simple for everyone to understand just how good they are and how long they will last. Can't get any better or more plain than that!

Great review of a great product! I was lucky enough to win some Woolzies earlier this year, and I love them. I've recommended them to everyone who will listen. They really do cut down on the drying time.

I was totally surprised about how the fabric softner will take the fire retardant out of clothes. Yikes. I would love to give these a try.
