Sweet Sally's Review & Giveaway**Closed**

Oh, I have a really great online bake shop to share with you guys today! I found Sweet Sally's by surfing the net one night and on a whim sent them an email and low and behold, she answered and agreed to send me some samples of her awesome cookies & sweets!

Here is what I was sent to review:

1.)  Cheesecake Brownies
2.)  Chocolate Rugelach
3.)  Almond Cookies (Gluten Free & Dairy Free)

We got 12 pieces of each delicious dessert in each box and boy, was it awesome! I have to admit it was the Chocolate Rugelach that went first. I was even surprised that Mike liked it as well as he did. I really got it for me and got the Cheesecake Brownies for him, but it ended up being the last thing we finished. Not that it wasn't good, we were just so enthralled with the other two, that it just happened without any conscious decision.

I have to admit, we are cream cheese lovers and I knew the minute I bit into the Chocolate Rugelach, that there was some in there! You can't hardly fool me when it comes to cream cheese! Most people don't put that into their rugelach and I can tell you without a doubt that I never tasted it in any store bought rugelach.

I have been pining for some homemade rugelach since my Mom died back in 1988 and the baking stopped, which I guess in a way was a good thing or I would have weighed a ton. But, I sure did miss all the homemade pies, cakes and cookies that she could make. Where she got all that energy I don't know. She would make extra's and freeze them all the time. She also gave away a good many of her cookies around the holidays to all the neighbors and that is one thing that they still talk about to this day.

Sweet Sally's Chocolate Rugelach has these ingredients:

All Natural Ingredients: Flour, unsalted butter, sugar, cinnamon, cream cheese, egg whites, salt, currants, bittersweet chocolate, fruit preserves and magic.

Can you see how much cinnamon is on these babies? Truly awesome and will never forget these! I have decided we will have to have more of these for the holidays.

These are the Almond Cookies that are Gluten Free & Dairy Free. I cannot tell you how awesome these were! They are crispy on the outside but the minute you bite thru that, it is soft and chewy filled almonds with tons of almond flavors! Very chewy, just the way I like my cookies! These were an awesome surprise but I have to admit, I was hoping that they would taste exactly like this.

I was looking at their shape when I was deciding what I wanted and by the puffed up look, I sort of had the idea that once you opened them up that there would be a pleasant surprise and I wasn't wrong! The almond nuts on the outside is the icing on the cake. You won't need any icing or other sweets with this cookie because it will assault you the moment you take that first bite.

Ingredient's in Almond Cookies:

All Natural Ingredients: Almond paste, sugar, confectioner’s sugar, egg whites, almonds and magic.

And then finally, the Chocolate Cheesecake Brownies! Oh, they are also in their own right, totally awesome! Now, I don't read the ingredients when they come and when I just went on her website, it says that there was an orange essence, which I did not know or taste, so it must have been very subtle.

We were so awed by the cheesecake flavor along with the chocolate that it was all that we could think about and so will you! Oh, and we didn't get 12 of these because the size is a lot bigger than the cookies, so if you had cut them in half, it would have been. And really, these are so big that I could not eat one in one sitting, I had to break them apart. Very moist, which is how we love our brownies. I love when they are chewy and light. If you love your brownies the same way, then these will be your favorite!

Ingredients in Chocolate Cheesecake Brownies:

All Natural Ingredients: Flour, sugar, unsalted butter, cream cheese, eggs, fresh orange zest, unsweetened chocolate, bittersweet chocolate, pure vanilla extract, salt and magic.

And if these aren't your cup of tea, Sweet Sally's has so many other awesome treats to choose from, I think you will find something that will delight you. I think if these 3 choices were as awesome as we thought that they were, then I have no doubt that the others are just as good. You can't fake this kind of baking. I know because I had a good teacher in my Mom and I know a good baker when I meet one. I have every confidence in stating that no matter what you pick, you will get a winner if that is the type of treat that you love.

Here is one cake that I would love to sample and I bet it's awesome:

This is a Jewish Cake called Festive Honey Cake. Gosh, I bet this cake would be totally awesome and I hope to try it the next time.

Ingredients for Festive Honey Cake:

All Natural Ingredients: Flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, salt, cinnamon, eggs, vegetable oil, coffee, walnuts, raisins, honey and sweet wishes for a happy new year.

This is the Salted Caramel Macaroons- Gluten Free. They look awesome, don't you think? I am so excited about this one. I would really like to see this one also.  Gosh, who doesn't like caramels? If you do, I bet this one is totally off the charts!
