Rollie Eggmaster Vertical Grill Review

I recently got the chance to try the new Rollie Eggmaster Vertical Grill that is made by Kalorik that you have seen floating around on the web! I know it's suppose to be easy, but somehow I made it into a big deal and it took me forever to figure it out. The first time I used it, I put too much food in and it spit it right out!! We laughed so hard, it's a good thing we had already ate!
So, I started over on another night and figured out where I made my mistake. Even though I had cut the recipe in half, because we did not want 2 servings in case it came out wrong again, I only used half of the recipe, which was their French Toast recipe. This time I did not cut up as much bread and used a regular egg instead of a large egg. See, the first time, it didn't get cooked and it was already pushing it out! So, I figured I must have put too much in the grill, so I cut that in half and we finally got a decent looking French Toast roll.
I think I had too much French Toast mix on the first run but got it right on the 2nd run.
This is what it looked like looking down into the vertical grill below.

I don't know if you can see, but there is a black poker like thing sticking out and it has a round disc on the other end to push the food down until it won't go down any further.

And then this is the French Toast Roll. After I sprinkled cinnamon, sugar and some awesome syrup to dip it in, it really didn't taste as bad as I thought it would. Now that I have my ingredients down pat, I will try to make this again for the family but add more cinnamon & sugar along with extra vanilla to make the rolls taste better without me having to cover them in sugar afterwards. I was a little stingy when I made the batter because I wasn't sure how this would all turn out, so now I can add it back.

Mike took a quick taste and said it was actually pretty good. So, if it passed his test, then we are good to go! It does me no good if he doesn't like something since he's the main eater in the house. With my stomach issues, it is hard for me to eat more than 2 or 3 bites then I have to stop. I am going to the doctor next week because it has gotten worse over the past month. Something is a little off. I used to get more than that down before it acted up but now on the 2nd bite, I have to stop.
Here is a video that Rollie Eggmaster made so you can see this in real time.
Features on the Rollie Eggmaster:

• Unique patented design and function gives you the perfect Rollie® every time!
• Visual fun - various recipes rise out of the cooking chamber when ready

• Includes: scratch free, padded brush for easy cleaning, a packer for burger roll preparation, wooden skewers, and a 25+ recipe book
This is everything that comes with it except I don't have the manual with the recipes in it but otherwise, this is in your set. I loved the cleaning brush because you will definitely need that to get all the way down into the vertical grill. They also provided some wooden skewers so that you can get the food out if you need to and then the black thing is what you can lightly pack the food down into the vertical grill.
I think the next time I might try the breakfast burrito which is the number one reason we wanted to try this but I was a little too nervous to try that one for my review. I picked something I knew I could handle and then will try the other things later on. But, it is definitely great for all egg recipes and the French Toast!
Oh, and did you know that The Rollie has been featured on ABC’s The Chew, The Colbert Report, and Jimmy Kimmel Live?
