Freedom to Read Giveaway Hop **Closed**

Hosted by: BookHounds

Welcome to the Freedom to Read Giveaway Hop and Mary's Cup of Tea!

I hope that you will love the series of books that I am giving away called The Tallenmere Series written by Mysti Parker. It is about elves, magic, magicians, healers, dragons, you name it, it has it! It is a Fantasy series and it is love stories involving the elves and all the dilemma's that happen to them.

Sometimes, they will break your heart and at other times, you will be cheering all 3 couples on. Each book is about a specific couple who lives in Tallenmere. It is not a continuation series where one picks up where the other left off.  They are completely separate but they will mention a character from another book but really has no bearing on the story about the couple.

Once you have entered my giveaway, continue on down the list and enter some other giveaways! Good Luck to Everyone! My giveaway is open in the U.S. only. The Books are all hardback copies.

1.)  A Ranger's Tale:

2.)  Serenya's Song:

3.)  Hearts in Exile:

Summer ... Autumn ... etc. ... doesn't matter, I pretty much read at the same pattern. 50% of my fiction read is mysteries & thrillers, the other 50% is a hodgepotch of almost anything else!

Non-fiction, 25% is hockey-related, 25% is animal-themed, 50% is anything else!

I don't have just one particular summer favorite but I do like to read adventurous fantasy during the summer. Summer isn't about 'fleeting romance' to me. It's about camping trips, hikes, bike rides, and lots of adventure. And it's rained all summer so far so I've been reading about other people's adventures. :)

I haven't decided what to read. I just spent a week with my grandchildren and that has kept me very busy.

I'm not really a "seasonal" reader -- but this Summer, I'm reading MacRieve by Kresley Cole right now, and looking forward to Magic Rises by Ilona Andrews and Cast in Sorrow by Michelle Sagara.

Thanks for the amazing giveaway!

My favorite books have romance and/or comedy. I especially love romances during the summer. :)

LadyVampire2u said...

In the summer I don't really change what I read. So my answer would be any book that grabs my attention. That would be mainly paranormal romance books. But I do read a little of everything. LadyVampire2u AT gmail DOT com

I commented on your Prize Candle review under this same name.

It's hard to pick a favorite summer read. Usually in the summer time, I prefer light-hearted, quick & easy reads. :)

I sort of followed Mysti Parker in here ... no, not stalking, she more sort of turned and said, "Well, are you coming??"

Summer read: I have no regular summer read, or even type of read. Currently reading Sophie Davis' "Talented" and a non-fiction "The Rhino with the Glue-On Shoes". Oh yeah, and during my commute, I have Carl Hiaasen's new book "Bad Monkey" on CD.
