K'NEX Robo-Creatures Building Sets Review & Giveaway **Closed**

We were sent some awesome Building Kits to make the Robo-Creatures and my grandson just about had a heart attack! He was so excited he didn't even know what to say. He loves anything that resembles a dragon and these creatures definitely fit the bill. We got the (3) sets from K'NEX along with some Mario Figures that they sent along.

We received the Robo-Strike Building Set:

Robo-Smash Buiding Set:

Robo-Sting Building Set:

And Lastly, the Super Mario Brothers Figures!

My grandson was in heaven according to his mother! I didn't get to see him build these sets because they live in a different state and I thought we would get to go several times but my health hasn't been good and then you all know about that hateful email hacking incident in May that left me almost paralyzed with worry because I lost everything! I actually had to wait for several sponsors to get ahold of me and then I had to reach out thru General Emails on their sites, and well, it wasn't pretty having to try and fit everyone in at the same time, so I had to space everyone out as bad as I hated it.

But, the good news is, I think I am getting all of those reviews and giveaways taken care of and hopefully nothing like this ever happens again. I have been keeping a journal this time with sponsor's names and emails, so we shouldn't have any problems from now on. These were such awesome building sets for my grandson and I would have loved for this to be out and done before school ended but there is still time for your boys or girls to enjoy building these really entertaining sets.

He built the Robo-Smash first according to his mother and he was really excited because at first they thought it would be really hard but it wasn't! The more he got into it the better and faster he was able to understand what to do and was so happy when he completed it all on his own! Now, all three of these sets say 7 and up for the age group, so please keep that in mind. I would hate to have you get this for someone younger and then they can't make it.

This is the Robo-Smash:

These are not recommended for children 3 and under because of the smaller pieces that they could get choked on, so please remember that when ordering for your children. Oh, and All sets require 2 "AA" batteries, not included.

This is what is included in the Robo-Smash Building Set:

**Motorized with 156 K'NEX parts
**Combine all the sets in the series to create the ultimate creature (each set sold separately)
**Requires 2 "AA" batteries, not included

This is the Robo-Sting Building Set and what it looks like fully assembled! Boy, they sure do look kind of bad and mean, don't they? I would hate to meet this somewhere in the dark!

Check out what they say about the Robo-Sting on K'NEX's website:
Robo-Sting in the Robo-Creatures Series - motorized for exciting mechanical movement! Includes 157 K'NEX parts, primarily rods & connectors. The motor allows for unique and exciting mechanical movement. Robo-Sting's wings flap just like a hornet! And that's not all - combine all three sets in the Robo-Creatures series to create the ultimate creature!

Now, the last one is the Robo-Strike Building Set. Doesn't it look exactly like a scorpion? The others is hard to tell what they are suppose to be but this one is quite obvious. They have other Building Sets besides the Robo ones, so make sure you check them all out before you decide on which ones are more appropriate for your child.

This is what they say about the Robo-Strike Set:
Collect & Build Robo-Strike in the Robo-Creatures Series - motorized for exciting mechanical movement! Includes 163 K'NEX parts, primarily rods & connectors. The motor allows for unique and exciting mechanical movement. Robo-Strike stings and walks just like a scorpion! And that's not all - combine all three sets in the Robo-Creatures series to create the ultimate creature! Recommended for builders ages 7+. All sets require 2 "AA" batteries, not included.
We also got (3) grab bags of the Super Mario Figures that are used in the Wii games. They are sold as Mystery Bag Series and I didn't open all of them so I am not sure if he got all the same ones or not. I really don't know that much about Super Mario and how many characters are. This one slipped by me as I was so focused on the Building Sets, so I am sure he loved them as he has lots of toy cars and trucks and his mother said he put them in the driver's seat or in the back as a passenger.

From looking on K'NEX's website, it looks like Super Mario has a several Building Sets also that you can use him and his friends in. I will have to keep that in mind. If my grandson shows more interest, I will get him some of those so he has someplace to put the figures. So, if your child has talked about the Super Mario games and figures, this would be a great gift for them.

Here is what they say about the Assorted Mystery Bags of Super Mario figures:

Build your favorite characters from New Super Mario™ Bros. Wii! Each set includes 1 buildable figure - Regular Mario™, Fire Mario™, Regular Luigi™, Ice Luigi™, Blue Yoshi™, Yellow Yoshi™, Blue Toad, Yellow Toad or Princess Peach. Collect them all!

**Buildable figure from Super Mario™ Bros.
**Collect them all!

They also have a good bit of products that deal with teaching your child some things in Education such as Math, Science, Geometry, Physical Science, etc. So, if your child needs help in that area, these educational tools might help them learn better. Anything is worth it to try and engage them before it's too late and they hate school. I figure if you can keep them interested while they are young, maybe it will stick.

Oh, and by the way, they have a Kid's Club that they can join and learn all kinds of interesting things! They can enter contests and learn about new designs to build and get a newsletter once a month. You never know, this might make the difference in whether they find school interesting or not. Can't hurt to try it for a little while anyway.

The kind folks at K'NEX are letting me give one Building Set away from the three that I just reviewed. I decided not to pick the one because your child might not like the one I pick so the winner will get to choose from the three that I did review. Open in the U.S. only. Good Luck Everyone!

There are times that we encounter fear and disappointments in life yet we still manage to stand up straight and face it rather that being silent. That was a very good example of being a brave person. Well, I would like to thank you for sharing a very good article it is very much appreciated, good job! You can visit my site too if you want. Have a great day!
