Aurora World's Sea Sparkles Mermaid Doll Review

I have a really lovely doll to tell you about called Serena and she is from the Sea Sparkles group of dolls from Aurora. If you remember a while back I did a review on a Raggedy Ann and her pocketbook. This is the same company who let me review the Raggedy Ann.

And you guessed it, Sea Sparkles is a mermaid doll! They are really cute and what makes them unique and loveable is that the manufacturer's decided to keep the dolls simple like they used to be when I was growing up. They have the same look as the Raggedy Ann & Andy dolls with the weaved hair and the stuffed body's.

They have (6) all together different mermaids and they all have names and you can get them in Small, Medium, Large and a few of them in XLarge. I got the Medium which is 18" tall with very blond hair and a lavender themed mermaid dress complete with fins! I did take pictures of her but my camera must be trying to die again. It came out really dark but I am going to show you anyway because the ones from their site are too small to see all the details.

It even made her outfit look pink instead of lavender, so I have a feeling before too long I am going to have to break down and do something about a camera! Been trying to win one but I don't think that's going to happen. At the very top picture you will see her because she is the one in the very front and that will give you an idea of the color of lavender her suit should be.

I actually love the Sea Sparkles collection. They have all kinds of sea creatures just like you would imagine that they would. Here are a few of them so you can tell that you can actually get a whole sea theme going on in your daughter's room and she will have lots of friends to play with! This is my favorite, the Dolphin and the Seahorse:
And then there is the Octopus!

There are lots more characters from the sea to check out in the Sea Sparkles section. You will love all the colors! That is what I noticed right off the bat, how colorful they all are.

Then I found these called YooHoo's and I thought, how funny! Whoever thought this one up had some kind of imagination! Aren't they the funniest thing you have seen in awhile? Every style features one color of the rainbow in its tail. Squeeze their tummies, and the rainbow lights up with a fun sound.

Fine quality, exceptional detail and soft to the touch, Aurora's Miyoni line captures the beauty of nature, featuring the world’s most popular domestic and jungle animals and North American wildlife. The line expands in 2013 with scores of new animals including the release of realistic and naturally sweet "tots". Each highlights the endearing looks and poses of younger animals.

They look so soft and comfortable, don't they? That is what I have been searching for to tell you. All of the toys or plush animals that I have reviewed for Aurora have been so soft and warm and easy to play with. These are some truly awesome toys to give a child as a gift or for no reason if that is what you want to do. They will love them all!
