Shielo Leave In Protectant Review & Giveaway **Closed**

I have a great new hair styling product to tell you about today called Shielo Leave In Protectant. You will love what this bottle of magic does for your hair. I just thought, okay, another leave in conditioner, but that is far from what this is actually good at doing.
Here are a few things you need to know up front:
**Paraben free
**Prevents Frizz
**UV protection with organic extracts
**Multiple Use: Styling aid & on-going to refresh style
**4oz 118 ml
And I can tell you from using this product, that it does indeed help with the frizz. I know that you know I am always on the lookout for controlling the frizz and to help keep my hair from looking dried out (like straw), so when I run across something, I am willing and able to give it a shot. Nothing to lose but everything to gain is my motto when it comes to my hair.
The key ingredients in Shielo Leave In Protectant:
• UV Protectants and natural antioxidants from White Tea enhance color protection.
• Shea Butter adds a protective moisture barrier to seal the hair shaft.
• Innovative Wheat Crosspolymer creates an invisible safety net around each hair to shield color, increase flexibility and reduce breakage.
I don't know if you know what White Tea is or how it smells, but this awesome Leave In Protectant smells exactly like a cup of White Tea when it is still hot. I did not read the ingredients when I used it because I like to get my own impression without knowing in the back of my mind that it should smell such and such a way. That way, I also know I am being told the truth. White Tea is a nice, light, crisp and clean smell that you enjoy getting a whiff of every now and again when you least expect it or need something to cheer you up.
To me a scent can either make me feel lousy or lift them if I smell something good. You know, it's the same way with food or a drink. You smell something cooking that you love and you feel that instant gratification knowing you will eat something that you love. That is the same thing that flitters thru my mind when I turn my head and get a whiff of Shielo's White Tea fragrance. And it's very subtle so it won't clash with any of your perfumes or lotions that you have put on.
I know all that is too hard to read but some of it will have this kind of information on the back as to what it does and the directions on what you can use it for.
First of all (and the most important to me) this antioxidant rich leave in protectant is designed to strengthen every strand of hair, creating texture, as well as protect your hair from the stress of heat styling such as blow drying, curling irons and hair straighteners. This unique protective complex with pro-vitamins, proteins and amino acids infuse hair with vitamins while providing UV protection. For deeper natural and color-treated hair color. Shielo Leave in Protectant is  awesome in controlling frizz. (my very first priority)!

It can also be used both as a styling aid while hair is damp prior to use of heat tools (iron, curlers), and, throughout the day to refresh your hair style, control fly-aways, and keep frizz under control.  And this is the second most important thing it does. I love that you can use it again during the day, especially here in Georgia where the humidity gets really bad and the frizz will happen without fail. So, now at least, I have some fighting power to battle the frizzes and hopefully protect my hair at the same time.
Lastly, the directions are pretty simple and I have gone thru them pretty much but here is what it says on the bottle under Directions:
Mist throughout clean, towel-dried hair For best color protection, comb through to ends to deeply preserve. Do not rinse. Style as usual. Can be used throughout the day.
Shielo has other products in their line such as a shampoo, conditioner and volume bounce style creme.  So, if you wanted to use a whole line instead of just one product, you do have options. Maybe some time later on we can review the shampoo and conditioner and I will let you know how it all works.
I would especially like to see how the Volume Bounce Style Creme works. Here is what it looks like:
Shielo advises that this Creme can do several things and those happen to coincide with what I need because my hair is fine and thin and needs more shine and bounce. So, I just might have to investigate this one. Here is some further info on what we know about this product, but here is what I do know from their site:
This luxury styling creme uses a proprietary blend of moisturizers, proteins, and thickening agents to define hair for building volume, thickening, and taming frizz. Creates bounce and shine.
For fine or limp hair, the creme provides a flexible hold with volume using plant-derived protectants. Includes UV filters to protect against color fading.
Yep, definitely will be trying this out soon, I hope.  I will let you know what I find and how it works for me and if it works for me, then it will work for just about everyone since I have the awfullest head of hair on anybody I have seen in a long time. I used to have beautiful hair back before all this thyroid nonesense started and I sure would love to see it again in it's full glory.

I found this in the About Us section:
Shielo Hair Care grew out of an idea to create a luxury shampoo and conditioner products from natural based ingredients, traditionally found in eastern-medicine. The resulting hair care formulas that make up the Shielo collection is based on the hard work performed by people all over the world.

A need was identified among top salons in New York City and their clientele for more voluminous styles, while including the effort to enhance and fortify hair care products with volumizing and color protecting elements.
In 2007, the Shielo brand was extended from salons into clients' homes with scientifically superior products designed to invigorate hair for all styles. The Volume Collection was the first to debut online in 2007, much to the delight of women who craved high performance product that addressed the needs of limp and weak hair.
Towards the end of the 2008, the Color Protect line was launched which today remains a product winner in many categories for color protection and shine.
