Warm Buddy Wrap Review & Giveaway **Closed**

Oh, I wish I could tell you how happy I was when I found out I was gonna get to review one of Warm Buddy's products. I wasn't sure what they meant by a Body Wrap so I was expecting something like a small blanket to curl up with while watching TV or reading a book but what I got was this really thick and heavy 20x 10 small body wrap that fits perfectly on my tummy or chest or even underneath my neck or Mike has used it for a really bad sinus headache by putting it on the top of his forehead.

We got the one in the leopard pattern as you can see from above. From the looks of their site they have 9 colors to choose from in this Warm Buddy and you can even get it in a custom embroidery. The Warm Buddy's contain natural milled rice and their signature anti-stress aromatherapy blend. Mine is Lavender. I know what you are gonna say but in this instance, Lavender is what calms you down and helps you relax, so this one time I went with Lavender to help me get some relief.

So, this would make someone who has RA or OA along with lots of tummy problems and headaches a godsend. I have Fibromyalgia and RA along with IBS and I.C. (chronic bladder pain) and just general arthritis in several places. It is really hard for me to answer some questions because I don't know the difference.  Now, this 15 x 19 would cover a wider area and that is what I really need!

Like they ask me every single time, do you feel an urgency to go to the bathroom? Do you feel you have to go more often? But with I.C. those are everyday problems and it seems like no matter how many times I tell them, the still ask.

With the Warm Buddy you can either heat in the microwave to a temp that only you know what you can stand but try not to do it more than 3 minutes at the most. Unless you have experienced and know exactly how much time it will take to heat it to your liking, then do that.

You can also freeze the Warm Buddy if the coldness helps with whatever pain you are experiencing. I tried freezing things years ago but all I got for those years I would freeze my whatever I used then, that I didn't get much relief so I stuck to the heating pads and such.

I think she has on the warm slippers too if I am not mistaken. You won't believe all the different things that they have that you can use to heat yourself up.  And I really love the black bear! I saw alot of things that Mike and I both would love to have but there is a little thing called money that you need to get them, so we will never be able to get any of these, especially with all the medical bills I have wracked up lately.

But, if you can, and you do get one of these robes, please write us a small response and let us know how it worked for you. I would love to know. See the little Warm Buddy Booties below!

I never realized that there were so many different types of products out there that could help if you need them. I truly never considered booties let alone these socks that I found on their site as well!

Don't they look so fuzzy and comfortable? You can get them in cream or chocolate and you just throw them in the microwave to get them heated and wallah, you have nice toasty feet that don't hurt anymore. I wish they had something like knee pads for the knee's.

I have had both knee's replaced that is how bad the RA is eating me up and when metal gets cold, it is really hard to get them uncold! I have been taking the heating pads and wrapping them up one by one. Sometimes it helps and sometimes it doesn't. I would be awesome to have them heating up at the same time!

You can even get them in animals for your kid's if you are having a hard time getting them ready to go to sleep. How can they resist when they see such awesome pets? They even have a penguin and a panda bear!

They are just too cute, don't you think? Then they have these sets for smaller children and babies that have the blankets with the stuffed little bears wrapped up inside the blanket, showing you just what a baby would look like if it was your child and not the baby in the picture.  I have to admit that I really loved them all and would take one of each!

Warm Buddy Company has been manufacturing the original warm-up plush animals since 1996. Designed to provide natural relief from aches, pain and stress.

Looks like they are here to stay and I for one am glad. I would imagine it would make a child feel alot safer and loved to have one of these great animals to be their friend when they don't feel good! I know I would so I bet your youngest child would go wild over any of these unique creatures.

This should warm your heart even further into why we should support this awesome group of people:
Last June, Warm Buddy’s plush animals helped give comfort to Children in Japan affected by the devastating earthquake. In addition to numerous accolades and testimonials over the years, Warm Buddy was honoured with the Parent Tested, Parent Approved Award in 2009 (a US award).
Lastly, just for laughs, I thought you would want to see the gloves and slippers that you could have from this wonderful company:

Now, you tell me, how could you resist these?  I have been smiling the whole time I have been writing because no good will come from being a sourpuss, so you gotta love their imagination and the willingness to be in seen wearing these! I think it would be a blast myself!

Here is what I found in the About Us section:
Karen McKee is the president of Warm Buddy Company. Her background as a Registered Nurse combined with her interest in alternative therapies, herbal medicine and aromatherapy, led to studies in India at a natural healing hospital. She noted the hospital's application of herbal preparations and heat therapy to provide comfort and relief for many conditions.

Upon her return to Canada, Karen discovered a heat wrap that was microwaveable and loved using it - so easy and comforting. An idea was born.

With her idea and innovative thinking Karen McKee developed the first Warm Buddy™ heat wrap in 1995. These heat wraps surpassed what was on the market with improved heat holding capabilities, the addition of herbs and essential oils and unique designs and shapes. Originally, Warm Buddy products were aimed at the medical market and were widely used by medical practitioners and massage therapists in their treatments.

Karen's Warm Buddy product line quickly grew and evolved. The development of our warm-up plush animals, known to many as Warm Buddies, included teddy bears, kittens and puppies. These cute stuffed push animals added a new dimension to the Warm Buddy business. Warm Buddy warm-up plush animals are a huge comfort to sick children and have been used in children's cancer wards, as well as helping to soothe and relieve aches, pains and stress in the elderly.

Warm Buddy warm-up plush animals have recently won the PTPA Media award for excellence in parenting products.
