I like the gory, very detailed, leave nothing out rated r type stories... I read just about anything but that grabs my attention quick

Dorothy Teel said...

I like the soft, let your mind think type of murder mysteries, not the blood and gore close your eyes type.. Thank you for asking..

Either is ok, but I do prefer a thinking mystery where you can actually figure it out, if you're quite good!

I am of the opinion that it isn't necessary to be gory in order to scare and thrill the reader or viewer. I LOVED the old Vincent Price movies that just HINTED at violence and mayhem. So soft murder is good for me;)

Depends on what kind of mood I'm in.
I love Spring. It's when the cold and ice of winter melts away and flowers begin to bloom. The grass becomes green again. The birds chirp in the trees. And the weather warms, which is probably the very best part! So far, I have experienced many April showers. I can't wait for their inevitable consequence: flowers!
Thanks for the giveaway and Happy Spring!

I am a huge fan of Murder she wrote, Perry Mason, Diagnosis murder, and Matlock. Good Suspense and Mystery is always stimulating. It adds action to otherwise slow drama.
Thank you for the giveaway.

I like and read both, but I prefer the hard core. For example I am a big fan of Tami Hoag, Andrew Gross, Tess Gerritsen, and many more. Thanks for having the giveaway.

I like a bit of both. I used to watch Murder She Wrote, Scarecrow and Mrs. King, and things like that with my mom when I was very, very little so from that I grew up loving to read such things. On the other hand, as I grew up I also loved Nightmare on Elm Street and other gory (Hey, that was gory when it first came out back in the day!) stuff so I guess you could say I like it all. I like mysteries that have blood, guts, and gore all over the place but also those that have nice neat and clean mysteries as well. I love them all.

Thank you for the chance to enter the giveaway. Have a wonderful day everyone!

I like both...it depends on my mood

I prefer Cozy Mysteries now, especially series. The characters become old friends, and I'm always so glad to "see" them when a new book comes out.

Jennifer DeFoy said...

I tend to get more involved in the mysteries that are a bit more hard core. I feel like I have more invested in figuring out the mystery when it's explained more graphically. So I like to read either, but I'd have to say my preference is the hard core ones.

I prefer soft mysteries. I simply don't think because it is a mystery that there has yo be a lot of blood and guts.

I like both but I like thinking about it more. That is why I think books are better then movies, you can think about it however you want, you can create each scene the way you want. So I guess that I like the soft type better.

Tina Kohrman said...

I like both kinds of mysteries but usually enjoy the ones that you make you think. Thank you for the amazing giveaway.

I actually like them both. Sometimes I need the thrill and excitement of the gory ones. Other times I like the easy ones.
