Moroccan Oil Shampoo & Conditioner Review

I don't know if you have tried any products with Moroccan Oil in them, but if you haven't, this pair would be a great one to start with! The Moroccan Oil in the shampoo and conditioner will have your hair so silky smooth in a matter of days and you will be spoiled forever as we have become! I don't know who thought up the idea of adding oils to shampoos and conditioners, but whoever they were, they were genius's! Probably did not spell that right, but you get the drift!
First off, Salon Logics sent me the biggest bottle of shampoo I have ever seen, it is 1 Liter and has this really nice pump already in it and I have the one that has Repair on it. I have such dry hair and then with the coloring to keep the grey away, I figured I needed something to help repair my hair and add back the shine and healthy look and boy, does Moroccan Oil do that! It's also good to repair hair that has been repeatedly damaged due to blow drying and the curling and straightening irons.
They restore hair by bathing it in a highly concentrated formula rich in antioxidant argan oil, reconstructive keratin and fatty acids. Both products restore elasticity, moisture and manageability. The formulas are free of sulfates, phosphates and parabens, so they’re safer for the environment and won’t dry, fade or strip color-treated hair. They’re even free of sodium chloride, making them safe to use after keratin treatments.
After I shampoo my hair, I am a firm believer in leaving the conditioner on as long as possible, even when it's just your ordinary conditioner. I know that there is deeper and more rich conditioners that you can use weekly or every 2 weeks and you leave those in longer, but I still leave my plain conditioner's on for several minutes. I always wash my hair first and then rinse and apply the conditioner.  I then continue on with my shower and do all the things I normally would do and at the very end of the shower is when I rinse the conditioner off.
Because my hair is so dry, I love the ones that say they are for moisture, like this Moroccan Oil one is.  Another reason I love this one is that it does something even further than just add moisture.  Moroccan Oil Moisture Repair Conditioner gently detangles and reconstructs hair while infusing it with argan oil, keratin, fatty acids and protein.  I don't know about anyone else, but detangling my hair is just as important as the moisture.  I have natural curly hair and man, when you wait a few days to wash it, the tangles are unbelievable!
This is how they have managed to make this awesome conditioner:
For hundreds of years Argan oil has been used by women in Morocco to treat hair and nails in order to counteract the effects of the hot climate. The Argan tree, found only in the South West of Morocco called Argana; blossoms in the desert-like conditions and produces fruits much like olives yet larger and rounder.
Inside the fruit grows a large nut that houses up to three almond-shape kernels which are the source of this miraculous oil.
So, they have hundreds of years of experience knowing what works and what doesn't and I have to tell you since I have started using products with Argan Oil or Moroccan Oil, the difference in my hair is amazing.  Now, if we could just figure out how to keep the gray away!
Salon Logics has other Moroccan Oil hair products like the Hair Mask that treats really damaged and needs special treatment. I really need to try one of those one day and see how much more I can make my hair look awesome and restored. This is one of those products that you leave on between 5 to 7 minutes to make sure it works it way thru your hair.

They also have other brands you can try out so they are not limited to just the Moroccan Oil products. If you like Pureology, Baby Bliss, Back to Basics, Redken, Joico and many others, you can get those there as well.

They have styling aids and styling tools also that you can purchase there. It is a one stop hair shop store that you will love looking around and seeing what all they have that you either already use or want to try something new.  If you are like me, I love trying new products all the time, because who knows, there might be a cure for something one day and I would not want to miss that!

I like how the Argan tree was described and the fact that for many years Argan oil has been an important factor in beauty treatments and products.
