Ocufresh & Other Eye Products Review & Giveaway **Closed**

I decided to start with Ocufresh's new video that explains how it works to help you during allergy season, which I don't know about you, but it has already started for us. If you get itchy, irritated eyes that water alot, you might benefit from some of these products I will be telling you about today.

I originally got these back around the time that Sandy hit New York and this wonderful company got all these supplies together and sent them to New York for all the victims to have to get that gritty sand out of their eyes and get some relief.

Well, as good intentions go, I missed it due to illness and all the heavy Christmas events I was in and once I realized I would not get it done in time, I thought, okay, Spring would be the next big Deal for these products if you have allergies or if you wear contacts and they irritate the eyes also. I know this because my husband wears contacts. I could have gotten some, but I tried to wear them and they were so uncomfortable, I will stick with my glasses, thank you.

The products you see above is what came in an Ocufresh canvas tote bag and I thought that it was an awesome package for someone who deals with irritants all the time! I am allergic to ragweed which is a two time a year thing and then with Mike wearing contacts, these have been true lifesavers for him and I am sure the Sandy Hurrican victims were glad to get them also as much needed relief from the sand and other irritations that were occurring at that time.

First there is the Ocufresh Eye Wash:
The awesome benefits of this package is:
**Preservative Free (single-use vials)
**Washes away irritants
**Helps relief burning, itching and stinging eyes.
And then in the case of the Sandy Hurricane survivors, I am sure that they ran into these problems and used their Ocufresh Eye Wash for these also:
In urgent care situations, OcuFresh quickly and safely cleanses out irritants, dirt, chlorinated water and other loose foreign materials.

When used regularly, cleansing your eyes with OcuFresh helps to remove pollen, irritants or dirt that cause discomfort in your eyes. The results are eyes that feel noticeably better.

Have you ever had something in your eye and the more you tried to get it out the worst it got? I hate that feeling. That is when I know I need to stop doing what I am doing and do the eye wash instead. Sometimes it might take me doing it 3 to 4 times but I keep at it until my eye feels less gritty and that I can close them without hurting. (I have a very low pain threshold, so alot bothers me quickly)!

Now, this is what came in as a life saver to me and I bet the Sandy Hurricane victims! Optic's Mini Drops are lubricating eye drops and let me tell you if you suffer from dry eyes, this is will become of your best friend's in a heartbeat. I have dry eyes although I don't get it because I can cry and such but according to my tests when they check my eyes, they say I have dry eyes. Figures, since I have dry skin, why not dry eyes, too?

Here are the main benefits of Mini Drops:
  • To relieve dryness of the eye.
  • To use as a lubricant to prevent further irritation.
  • To use as a protectant against further irritation.
  • For temporary relief of burning and irritation due to dryness of the eye.
  • For temporary relief of discomfort due to the minor irritations of the eye.
  • For temporary relief of discomfort due to exposure to wind or sun.
Then there are these for those of you who have soft contact lens and need the rewetting drops in Eye-Cept Rewetting Drops.

Comforts and Moisturizes. Just use a drop or two give you temporary relief from burning and minor irritation due to dry eyes. Protect your eyes from more irritation.
  • Safe for the whole family, even those with sensitive eyes.
  • Easy to use; use as often as needed.
Ensures daily comfort to users of soft contact lenses and Projects against irritation and infection.
  • Preservative Free formula to avoid possible irritation
  • Safe to use daily to rehydrate dry lenses
  • Relieves minor irritation or discomfort associated with lens wear
  • Single-use dropper for convenient carry and use at home, play or at work

  • Mike is the one who uses this product more than I do since I don't wear contacts. He wears the kind you don't have to take out every night so he will use the rewetting drops to keep them lubricated so that they don't dry out his eyes or the contacts.

Then lastly, Mike has been taking these since he does have to work with fiber optics and it's important that his eye sight is perfect and can see the small things. (he does wear safety glasses and you should when dealing with fiber optics as they can barely be seen but will fly up into the eyes if not careful).
OcuSave is a daily vitamin supplement formulated to enhance eye health. It is available in adult easy to swallow softgel and you only have to take one a day!

What's in this vitamin:  Contains essential antioxidants plus Goji Berry, Cassiae Semem, Eyebright, Biloflavinoids, and Billberry

Although, I believe I will start taking them myself because one of the benefits is for people over 50 and I count as that! I sure don't want to have cataracts or have the Advanced Macular Dengeration either.

  • May help promote eye health, especially for adults over 50.
  • May help reduce the risk of cataracts.
  • Contains essential minerals to support ocular nutrition.
  • May improve eye health for patients that may be suffering from AMD (Advanced Macular Degeneration.)
  • Includes all nutrients that are recommended from nationally-recognized, Age-Related Eye Disease Studies One and Two (AREDS).

  • And the best part of all of this was that it came in this really awesome canvas tote bag that will more than likely get recycled over to a grocery tote. I am trying my darnedest to not bring as much plastic bags home as I can but I still forgot sometimes so it's a work in progress!

Isn't that a nice tote bag? But, you know what? I am just glad that these products were around to help aid the people who were affected by Hurricane Sandy and I am hoping that will be the last of these disasters for a little while so they can all recover.

I suffer from seasonal allergies and have used the eye wash before. My allergies have been so bad before that I've had people ask me what was wrong because it looked like I'd been crying--red puffy eyes, nose, sniffles... The eye irritants always seem to be the worst symptom for me so this would be a great product to use. mary987 (at) hotmail (dot) com

Most of my family are allergy sufferers unfortunately, but I've never tried Ocufresh before. We usually just try to soldier through the itchy eyes. This would be awesome!
