The Seaweed Bath Company Review & Giveaway **Closed**

Sorry, it has taken me so long to write about this really great and very patient company called The Seaweed Bath Company. Awhile back I was approved to get some Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash. I normally don't ask questions but since this one happened I now make it a priority to include in my pitch that I do not send winner's prizes out to them. When they are little, like earrings and other jewelry or even a pretty slim paperback book, I don't mind those as those can go in bubble wrap envelopes and not cost much. I know alot of you know that I am on disability and only get paid once a month.

Unfortunately, The Seaweed Company did not know this and when they sent my products to be reviewed, they sent the winner's also. I am very sorry, but these bottles weigh ALOT! I just don't have it in my budget to mail out such a huge box of 3 small shampoo's, 1 large conditioner and one large body wash so here is what I am gonna do and hopefully this will also give someone a chance to win something from them.

I am going to review just the shampoo today and the winner will get all three of the small bottles just like the ones I got. I think at the time the large sizes were on back order or something so I got 6 of the 4 oz sizes instead of the big 16 oz sizes like I did for the conditioner and body wash. Also, they sent everything in the Lavender scent and I love Lavender so I was tickled pink but I know some of you prefer other scents so I wanted to let you know that right up front. There will be no options of scents as they sent these to me to mail and I had to wait until after Christmas because money was so tight and because I got really sick.

Most of you read my earlier post that explained what happened and all the doctor appts and why I got so very behind. I had meant to have at least one if not 2 of these done by now but I can't control when my body shuts down and I don't have the energy to fight it, I just have to go with it. Fibromyalgia is an awful thing and coupled with RA and IBS and then finally the I.C. (chronic bladder pain), well, they have made my life miserable the whole month of December. I thought I held it pretty together until the week before Christmas I just fell completely apart at did not open my computer for a week and a half other than to answer emails.

But that is all in the other post. So, please go and read it if you need clarification. I will be dividing these products up and I hope you will understand that we just don't have that kind of money especially with it being the new year with new deductibles and copays. And I have 3 procedures coming up starting on January 11th and I will need every bit of strength I have to get thru those. I have no idea what will happen because I have been told it will be unbelievable pain so I am rushing to get what I can get done before then and if something falls thru the cracks, it was not my intention, it just happened.

I will do the 3 shampoos now and hopefully on Monday get the Conditioner up and then on Wednesday do the Body Wash. That way all three are done and there will be 3 separate winners unless someone who loves lavender as much as me really gets in there and does all the requirements, they might win twice. These shampoo's are totally awesome. I love the awesome smell of fresh lavender and that is what these shampoo's remind me of. I think Lavender is one of those smells that is very natural and doesn't take much to make any better.

God gave us a huge blessing when he made it possible for their to be lavender, especially in those old old days when they had little to bathe with. I think after smelling this particular brand of lavender, you just might change your mind, that is how awesome I think these smell. All of their Wildly Natural Seaweed Argan Shampoos and Conditioners combine our seaweed extract with soothing Argan Oil and Vitamin E to gently cleanse and moisturize your hair and scalp.

Maybe that is why the scent really gets to you when you open that shampoo or conditioner bottle up! I love the way my hair feels and if you love for your hair to smell fresh and natural then some of you who are like me, will agree that the natural smell of lavender combined with the great ingredients to clean your hair will leave it feeling soft to the touch and a joy to be around!

I caught my nephew during Christmas he kept walking by my chair alot and finally I asked him what are you doing? And he said, I just was trying to figure out why you smell so much better than the other women in the room! You could have heard a pin drop! I was so embarrassed! I had not meant for something like that to happen but out of the mouths of babes, we get what we get!

Here is the product description of their lavender shampoo:
Our Wildly Natural Seaweed Argan Shampoo combines the naturally nourishing properties of our seaweed extract with soothing Moroccan Argan Oil, Vitamin E and pro-vitamin B5 to gently cleanse and moisturize your hair and scalp.
Okay, this is the first time I have seen this and now I wonder what it means. I have hypothyroidism and my thyroid has been swinging all over the place this past summer and winter but I think it was doing it even before using this shampoo but I was only using hand cream and body cream on my legs and not in my shampoo.

I wonder why lavender would affect the thyroid or maybe another ingredient in the shampoo? Mm, maybe when the sponsor reads this review, he/she will be able to tell me what to ask him because I have used lavender all my life practically and don't think it has caused anything bad before, but who am I to say? I will keep you updated on this statement because now I am curious.

I try not to read anything about a product until I have tried it and am getting read to do the review, then I look for information. I found out long ago if I read it ahead of time, I will think I got the same results so I quit reading the articles until after I have done the review and then I get surprised that alot of my opinions are the same. So, no harm has been done!

I found this in the About us section:
