PaintYourLife.com Product Review

I recenlty had the pleasure to work with a great company called PaintYourLife.com and what they did was take a photo I had sent them thru email and then I could have had them use black and white pencils, like the old times when artists sketched people in pencil, or I could have them use colored pencils, or oil painting, pop art on canvas, wall art canvas, photo to canvas or phot to painting.

You will have to forgive me as I don't remember quite exactly what I chose because this all started last year and then we had alot of problems with the resolution with the picture I sent (all my fault, not theirs) and then I had to decide on black and white or colored pencils and then something happened, I don't know what, and it really doesn't matter because it actually was a blessing for me because I was so backed up with reviews.  I think they had some more problems with my photo and I had to send another one and then more time passed until they contacted me wanting to know how I liked the picture, and I was like, I don't have it.

So, more investigating, and believe me, I was not the least concerned because if it had showed up when it was suppose to, it wouldn't have gotten done any quicker, so I have laughed this whole thing off and I know things happen and I know it must have been something I did that messed it all up, so I don't blame them at all, especially since I got this awesome picture of Mike and Charlie to hang up!

I did not realize it would come in a frame already so when it did, I was so doubly blessed! I wish my camera could have taken better shots of this picture because it is beyond amazing! Everyone who has seen it, has said how beautiful it is and it looks just like them. Here is the picture that I sent them to copy:

I tried to crop out as much of the background as I could for them and then told them that the background did not have to be in the picture. This is when Charlie had just gotten his hair cut when we found out he had allergies to something that was bugging him about his hair so the Vet recommended that we cut his hair as short as possible and when we did, his itching, biting his legs and constant licking went away. So, now, we try to keep him as short as possible and I know he doesn't look like a Yorkie anymore, but he is so much more comfortable!

We have the picture hanging in the office facing the wall that Mike see's when he looks up. They really are best pals even though Mike will try and tell you that he is my dog. Charlie goes to sleep with Mike every night in the bed and then when Mike goes to work, he will come lay down with me on the couch as I am just getting finished with my reviews or I have been done an hour or so.

I think PaintYourLife.com did an amazing job and the frame is totally awesome! I wish it had come out more glorious than my camera is giving it credit but go to their site and you will see all the options you can select and that will give you an idea of how beautiful this actually turned out. This is the link to the pencil portraits so you can see some of the ones that they have done in the past in different styles and colors.

I did find some video's on their YouTube site so go there to get some better idea's but here is one to start with:

I thought there might be a place where I could show you where all the frames were but I couldn't find them. They suprised me with the frame so I didn't select it but they hit our way of style right on because it would have been one that I would have picked myself also.

Here is a little info I found out about them:
The PaintYourLife Studio was established with the clear objective of creating custom art. Our studio offers high quality handmade paintings, Prints on Canvas, and graphic design services. Most of our clients buy our Artworks to decorate their homes and offices in their own unique style, while other customers use our products as gifts for their loved ones.
How did it all start? In 2006 we began our studio employing several talented portrait painters who crafted handmade oil paintings according to customers’ photos. The mission of the owners was and is, to make quality art available to everyone, a masterpiece of their own choosing at an affordable price. Within a few months, the demand grew and as such, we employed more talented artists.
We learned that many of our customers were purchasing our custom paintings as gifts for their friends and families. They were telling us, “I’m fed up with ordinary gifts like flowers, chocolates, scarves, and such. We want something special…something unique… a gift our loved ones will never forget!"
In 2008, we expanded our studio and established a new line of products. the new line included custom prints on canvas, unique PopArt editing by professional graphic designer and also oil reproductions of famous artists. What makes our studio stand out among the others is our commitment to customer care. We give the same personal attention to every customer and for every order. Each order is inspected by one of our artists and also by our customer service members.
Our team is always listening to our customer’s needs beginning with pre-order questions to after order concerns. It is our goal to ensure that every customer goes away with a piece of art that they will enjoy for a lifetime. Throughout the process, our customers are kept up to date with the status of their order. We use the latest techniques and the best materials to ensure a top quality finished product.
At heart we are artists so we care about quality and details. We have served over 20,000 satisfied customers throughout the United States and Europe. Clients in the USA can visit our Showroom in 3479 NE 163rd St., North Miami Beach, FL 33160, USA

What a lovely keepsake! I'd love to have some more personalized art for my walls and this would be something a little different while still showcasing a family photo.

I like that pic!! I also like the fact that they worked with you to get it right even though it was essentially your fault--most companies would have just done it and forgotten it--will definitely be thinking of this company when looking for this type product!
