Newman's Own Organics Chocolate & Chocolate Cookies Sponsor Spotlight Review

Well, are you ready for some great chocolate? What would Valentine's be without it? Now, you can even do one better, have organic dark chocolate that is much better for you and without all those chemicals! Yes, it is Newman's Own Organic Chocolates I am talking about. They have some of the best dark chocolates you will find anywhere. Plus this year they have added 2 of their Chocolate Cookies to the mix. This is what will be in your package:

1. Dark Chocolate 54%
2. Espresso Dark Chocolate 54%
3. Orange Dark Chocolate 54%
4. Super Dark Chocolate 70%
5. Milk Chocolate 34%
6. Mocha Milk Chocolate 34%
7. Milk Chocolate Caramel Cups
8. Dark Chocolate Caramel Cups
9. Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups
10. Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups
11. Dark Chocolate Peppermint Cups
12. Chocolate Newman O's Cookies
13. Chocolate ABC Cookies

Whew, that was a mouthful to say and write! I have never seen so much chocolate all at one time (except in stores) but not at my house! My husband eyed the Peanut Butter Cups from the get go! He took a Peanut Butter Cup with him to lunch each day for work and then he went on to the Caramel Cups.

Oh, let me tell you, these are a little different than most cups. These packages have 3 cups in them not 2 like most others do. They are a touch smaller but there are 3 of them and they pack a powerful punch. I like the Peppermint Cups the best out of the cups with the Caramel coming in second. I let Mike have the Peanut Butter because he is nuts over them! All five carry Rainforest Alliance Certification.  Now, that is what you call a good thing! All I can say is that you will enjoy the heck out of them!

Mocha Milk Chocolate Bars are my favorite. If you are a coffee person or just like the flavor of coffee, you will love this Mocha Milk Chocolate! It is smooth and silky going down and at the last minute you will taste that mocha like coffee taste. Nothing better than that!

My next favorite is the Espresso Dark Chocolate. Now, with this one, you will definitely taste the bold taste of espresso but the rich velvety dark chocolate tones it down a bit and it will all melt away into your mouth as you take that last swallow!

I loved the Dark Chocolate 54% because it is a true chocolate experience. This is what chocolate is really like before all the other stuff is added whether it is fruits, nuts or other flavors. This is the chocolate that starts it all. The Super Dark Chocolate 70% is really what they call a true baking chocolate. I can eat it but not much at a time. I think this one would make a great bar to use in a chocolate recipe or to shave pieces of it off on a Chocolate Cake or Mousse.

Lastly, the Milk Chocolate 34% is a really good smooth and easy going chocolate that will have you thinking it is one of those other chocolates but where this one differs is that it is only 34%! Remember they only use Organic Cane Juice to sweeten these chocolates along with Organic Cocoa Butter.

Then to finish with is the Orange Dark Chocolate. I wasn't sure how I would react to this one but was pleasantly surprised at how good it tasted. It is not like a real tart noticeable orange but a more mellow and pleasing smoothness mixed in with the rich dark chocolate to make an exceptional treat! You experience the orange right at the last little swallow while it is on it's way down.

Here is what Newman's Own says about their chocolates:
Inspired by our love of chocolate, we searched for a source of organic cocoa beans to make a rich, flavorful chocolate - and we found it! Our new Signature Series line of Chocolate Bars is formulated with some of the finest Certified Organic chocolate we've ever tasted, made from cocoa beans grown on Rainforest Alliance Certified™ farms.

The Rainforest Alliance Certified™ seal guarantees that the cocoa in our Signature Series was grown on farms that meet comprehensive standards for sustainable farming, protecting soil, waterways and wildlife habitat as well as the rights and welfare of workers, their families and communities.

You will love these cookies! If you like Oreo's then this is no different except they are made with all natural ingredients and are Wheat Free, Dairy Free and very tasty! They are also certified organic by Oregon Tilth. Now, you can't say that about Oreo's, so I think I will stick with these. You will be able to tell right away that Newman's made these because of this:

The cream filled chocolate delight is easily recognized by the distinctive package featuring "Pa" and Nell Newman in American Gothic dress.

Did you use to eat those Alphabet Cookies when you were younger? I did but back then they were Animal Cookies. So, if you loved Animal Cookies, you will love these just as much but better because they are baked with all the right ingredients. The Chocolate Alphabet Cookies were my favorite of the three flavors that they make with Cinnamon coming in a close second.

And the best part is that they are organic and low in calories, so eat to your heart's content this Valentine's Day with all of the chocolate you will find in this package of goodies!

Newman's Own Organics is offering the winner of my From Our Hearts to Yours Valentine's Giveaway Package that starts on the 1st of February ends on the 14th, their own set of the same chocolates and cookies. Open in the U.S. only. Good Luck!

Wow,what a chocolate bounty for you ;).
I'd love to try the peppermint and the caramel. I've tried several of Newman's products in the past and really liked them. Thanks for the post.

Love Newman's Own Products! My favorite are the fig-newmans! They are so soft and fresh. Everything I've had of theirs has been absolutely amazing.
