Loving Pets Grill-icious Treats Review & Giveaway **Closed**

Charlie got very lucky these last few months and got all kinds of products and treats to choose from and try out. Unfortunately, some of them were not his favorites while others were. Such was the case here. He loved the chicken flavored treats but would not touch the turkey treats at all! You would think they would be about the same, but I have told you how in the past he is a very finicky eater and won't eat too many things.

It was very nice of Loving Pets to send us 2 different flavors, the Chicken and the Turkey Grill-icious but Charlie only had eyes for the Chicken! But, at least it wasn't a total wash. I would have been so embarassed if he had turned his nose up at both of them because he has done that before!

I bet the folks at Petsmart and Petco were glad to see us come because they knew we would be loading up on dog food and treats. I don't know Petco's policy but the kind folks at Petsmart let us bring back the opened packages for an exchange. They are totally awesome! Most of the bags were not missing anything because all Charlie would do is smell it and walk off.

So, alot of the products were not even touched. I am sure they still sent it back to the manufacturer or maybe they used it in their training sessions that they hold.

Seriously though, how can you stay mad at a face like that? So, we let it go and gave the other bag to a family who needed it worse than we did or should I say the dogs did? Don't get me started on that. I hate that they don't get feed like they should and if it keeps getting worse, I will have no choice but to say something. The dogs are always hungry and I am afraid one day they might try to attack Charlie because they are bigger than him.
Now, this one was his favorite of course! He is one lean mean chicken eating lover! Of course, he still would not touch it unless I cut them up into little quarter pieces. I don't know if he was having problems with his teeth or not because not long after we got these, we took him for a teeth cleaning and I did not know that they put dogs to sleep to do that. I guess you can't be working in a dog's mouth or they will bite you!

So, they did clean a good bit of tartar off of his back teeth because he doesn't use his back teeth much because he doesn't eat hard dog food or treats, except for Sweet Potato Fries and Chicken or Duck Jerky. Those are the 3 main treats he will eat. Forget the rest of them! So, I bet his teeth were hurting him the day I had to cut those up for him. But, now he is back to great health and can chew or eat anything if he will!
Now, these are the Turkey Treats that he would not touch, well, I take that back, he did eat about 1/2 of one and then left it laying there and went to find his chicken or sweet potato like french fries. You can also get them wrapped with chicken or duck around the potatoes and he likes the either way.  I was very suprised he did not like the Turkey, it is so close to Chicken I didn't think there would be a problem, but I guess they can smell it and know.
Although, we did not get the beef, I thought I would show you what it looks like and that it comes in the red bag if that helps you to remember better. All three came in a different color bag which I like, that way they all don't look the same and I grab something that I thought was totally different. More than likely, Charlie would not have liked these either!  Just remember that these are in the Grill-icious group of treats.

All three kinds of Grill-icious treats are 100% all-natural Beef, Chicken and Turkey treats. Sourced and made in the USA, these lean and tasty “flame-kissed” meats are mixed with antioxidant-rich sweet potato and come in regular or bite size to suit any dog. Soy free, gluten free, and with no additives or preservatives, you can feel great knowing your pet is getting the best.

I am also happy to know that they do all of their quality control testing here in the USA and that their products are also USA and that is why you see the flat on each and every bag or box you buy.

As pet owners ourselves, the Loving Pets family knows the importance of safe, healthy pet products. It is for this reason we began our "Tested in the USA" program.
