HBL Volumizing Shampoo & Conditioner Sponsor Spotlight Review

All of you know that I love the HBL line of products because I have brought them here over and over for reviews and giveaways. I could not think of a better set of haircare products to offer you for my Valentine's Day Event called From Our Hearts to Yours that will start on February 1st and end on the 14th. You will love these products as much as I do.

Here is what is in this set:

1.  Volumizing Shampoo
2.  Volumizing Conditioner
3.  Hair Masque

According to the HBL website it is best to use the complete system on your hair so that it builds on each other to give you the maximum effect. In the voluminizing set if you buy both the Conditioner and the Shampoo you will get a free Hair Masque valued $39.95! That is really a sweet deal! The shampoo gently cleanse and smooths the hair and adds volume to your hair.

If you are like me, I have very thin hair so I need all the help I can get! These are the ingredients in the volumizing set: Jojoba Seed Oil moisturizes strands and improves elasticity while Keratin Amino Acids naturally repair and strengthen. Silk protein seals and smooths the cuticle.

Also, the Volumizing Shampoo has a Gentle Color Safe Formula, Gluten, Paraben, Sulfate and Allergen Free! It lathers up really nicely and cleans your hair and leaves it smelling fresh and clean.

Next, what I do after shampooing my hair I put the Voluminizing Conditioner and leave on while I finish my shower routine. The very last thing I do before stepping out of the shower is rinsing the conditioner out to make my hair feel more silky and manageable. It will smooth, volumize and make your hair look thicker and more manageable.

Vitamins A, B and E act as natural anti-oxidants as Panthenol thickens and moisturizes the hair shaft and silk protein seals and smooths the cuticle. All I know is that my hair feels pretty darn soft when I am done so that is all that matters to me. Also, if you don't have a detangler, I use the conditioner as one while the hair conditioner is still in your hair, comb thru it and then finish washing out the excess conditioner. It just helps to smooth out any tangles while your hair is slick with the conditioner.

The Hair Masque will smooth, condition and protect even the most difficult hair without weighing it down or leaving a greasy feeling. It is great for all hair types. The Hair Masque can be used with or without heat, depending on the level of conditioning desired. Keratin Amino Acids naturally repair and strengthen hair and add elasticity while cetyl esters work to smooth, repair and seal damaged cuticle

You can also use the masque as the conditioner which will give it a little more umph! You may even need to leave it in longer which I have done and then it wash it out over the sink. This deep repair masque is wonderful and you should give it at least 15-20 minutes on your hair. I love that they have put a little comb in the inside of the cap to help you make sure that every strand of your hair gets the benefit of the masque.

You will love all three of these products! Used together you can get some fantastic results, especially if you have fine hair that just needs a little extra TLC. They have a Product Recommendator that will ask you some questions so that they know which system will fit you the best. I would love for all of you to stop there and check it out to see if you could actually be doing more harm to your hair than you realize. They also have a Testimonial area where you can here other people just like us talk about their experiences with HBL and what you can expect from these products.

This is what I found about the company and the man who started it all under About Us. There is alot more to the story and I hope you take the time to read it all. I am only giving you a snippet and you will want to know the rest of their story.
In 1990, Patrick’s life had an unfortunate turn of events. His older brother Tommy was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma at 39 years of age.

His family experienced their first brush with cancer several decades
earlier when his mother was diagnosed with uterine cancer. Fortunately, she survived the disease and made a full recovery.

Therefore, when Tommy was diagnosed they expected him to overcome the disease just as their mom had. Unfortunately, cancer had other plans and Tommy lost his battle to non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 1993.

Over the next few years, Patrick lost other close personal friends and two employees to cancer. During this period, his father was diagnosed with prostate cancer and underwent 41 radiation treatments. He also faced skin cancer, which thankfully was successfully treated.

I'm intrigued by the Hair Masque, I've never heard of this before but it sounds interesting. They must be a very generous company, I see that they host many giveaways/contests. I would love to try them out sometime.

I really need to try this, I have tried a few different volumizing shampoos and conditioners, but not with much success. Thanks!
