CoverGirl's Blast FlipStick's New Colors Review

I know that everyone knows who and what Covergirl is but have you heard or seen the latest new lip product called BlastFlipstick? Wow, does it pack a punch and a half! I got 3 shades to try and they were:
1.)  Vixen (#820)
2.)  Minx (#855)
3.)  Stunner (#840)
I am more along the light beige/light pink/light browns so I liked Minx the best because it had that brownish mischief color to me. There are actually 13 shades to choose from! Wow! And each BlastFlipStick has two colors, one on each end of the stick for you to use. One side is the Shimmer and the other side is the Cream shade and you can blend them together so that you can create unique and totally YOU shades that fit your personality!

Not sure which color this one represents but at least it gives you the close up look at what they should be like.  As you can see, the bottom part is the Shimmer and the top part is the cream shade. You can outline with one and then use one to fill in the middle parts or you can go totally Shimmer or totally Cream! Isn't it nice to finally have a choice in the matter about your lips? Isn't it refreshing to be able to mix and match and work wonders on your lips all by yourself?
I was hoping that these pictures would come out better so that you can see the colors but they all sorta look the same, don't they? Believe me, they are not! One is a dark brown/shimmer color, one is a wine looking color with a lighter pink on the other end and the third one is like a peach looking color and then a bright red color.  So, they actually gave me a broad range of colors to choose from but I pretty much stay with browns, beiges and shimmers. I am too pale looking for most red colors or even peach colors wash me out.
Okay, this is the one I used the most, the Minx because it is two opposite colors of browns/shimmers!
I believe this one is the Vixen, which is a pinkish color on one end and a wine color on the other.
This is the one called Stunner with an orangish color on one end a red color on the other.  This one might go to a friend who uses these colors because these do not look good on me at all. I do love a beautiful red polish on my toes and nails but not on my lips. I look like I died and became a vampire when I try to wear any color of reds. So, it's not Covergirl's fault that this one did not work for me, it would have been that way for any brand in this color.
I was able to finally get the Covergirl site to let me grab a picture and I think I found the perfect Blast FlipStick for me, Snap! That is the two colors above and they match pretty much what I wear on a regular basis. These are my go to colors! Wow! I sure do wish I had gotten this one! I would have worn it every single day.
This one is called Whisper and I would have loved this one also! I guess you see a pattern emerging here and that is that I like soft colors leaning towards beige and browns. Lastly, I found another one pretty close to what I would wear and that is Smooch, which is below.
I hope I was able to give you some idea's on what the colors are for the new Blast FlipSticks. There are more for you to look at on Covergirl's site so go and take a look at the other colors that I did not show here.  I showed you 6 colors in all and there are 7 more on their site. Have fun looking and comparing!

I've been meaning to try these! I love how customizable they are--as a fellow pale person, I agree that it's hard to find shades that don't completely wash me out.
