Virga Botanicals Super Sponsor Spotlight Review

You are gonna love this next company and their products! They sent me 2 scents of Body Scrub to try and one was the above, Organic Rose and the other one was Ginger Grapefruit. The only other scent that they make is Vanilla. The company's name is Virga Botanicals and they will be giving the winner of the Thankfully Homemade Blog Event Giveaway will get a $35 GC to spend however you like! Good Luck Everyone!
This company is in two events for me and they are only 6 days apart from each other. The prizes are different but because they are so close and we all know how Google has been lately, I did not want to cause any undo damage to Virga Botanicals or myself by having 2 reviews 6 days apart. I am so booked up with giveaways that I don't even know if I would have the time but what I will do is if I see a break in the schedule before the second event ends on the 26th, I will write a new review that way it will be more than 6 days apart and they will still get their 2 reviews.

It will just be after the event starts not before. For now, though, we will leave it as one review so you can see the products for the 2nd event. Hence, the reason why I dubbed this Sponsor Spotlight "Super" meaning it's a little longer than normal because it is 2 in 1!
The second event is Giving Green - The Green Gift and it starts on November 12th and ends on the 26th. The winner of that giveaway will get their choice of either the Organic Rose Body Scrub or the Ginger Grapefruit Body Scrub.  If I have some time before the Giving Green ends, I will do another review for Virga Botanicals on some of her other stuff for you so that you can see what all she carries.
I have to tell you that they are a complete package when it comes to natural products for the skin and body. I have reviewed them in the past and they sent me over some lavender scented bug spray that was awesome. I believe that was in the April Showers Giveaway event, just in time for summer. It was a great relief to have a bug spray that did not smell like you might pass out any minute from the heavy chemical smell!
The Organic Rose Scrub is so totally girly and so clean smelling that you will want to take a shower with it instead of using a perfume. It lasted on me a really good while, just about as much time as perfume does, of course, I don't spray alot on either. I like just enough to catch a fresh smell but not so much that you can tell it's perfume.  I hope that makes sense. I can tell when standing next to someone if they used perfume or a perfumed soap or scrub or even a powder. They smell different. If you have never thought about it, try it. The perfumed person will almost always give me a headache. The other ones won't. That is why over the last few years I have traded slowly from perfumes to other ways to get my clean fresh scent.
The Organic Rose Body Scrub has been scented with pure Bulagarian Rose Made of organic sugar in very emollient, nourishing shea butter and almond oil, it is formulated to leave skin beautifully soft and exfoliated. Contains NO preservatives, only a natural antioxidant to keep the oils fresh.
Now, I liked the Ginger Grapefruit, even though I wasn't so sure about it. I am not wild on either scent for different reasons but the way that they were put together by this company made the scent fresh, clean and outdoorsy like smelling. I would have thought I was smelling some flowers or smelling someone who had just cut open a grapefruit. It is a good scent to have for someone who doesn't normally like scents because it smells so fresh they won't associate it with a scent like perfume or oils.  I call this one my Awake scrub! Try it first thing when you wake up and by the end of your shower, you will be ready to take on the world!
Because of the ginger and some other spices, this one will definitely also open up your sinus's and my hubby has used it for that purpose. He will take a small amount and rub it all over his hands and then put them up to his nose and breathe deeply for a few seconds and it will open up for him.  He has had sinus surgery for a deviated septum and that worked for a few years but now his sinus problems are back so I don't know if the septum has changed or not since it's so hard to get him to a doctor. I bet the gals at Virga Botanicals never thought that someone would use their scrubs as relief from sinus headaches!
I would love to someday try this whole line of facial products that they recommend for someone with dry skin. Now, I did get to try the Triple Rose Cream for Day or Night the last time that I reviewed them but I don't know anything else about this set. Right now I have a hodge podge of all kinds of products that I review and I know that's not really the best way to do it. But, what are you gonna do, start telling companies, "No"? That wouldn't work so well because that is the main staple of my blog.

Of course, I know I won't last forever because I can tell the difference from last Christmas to this Christmas. I have gotten to where my RA and Fibromyalgia act up more and more which leaves less and less time to do reviews. I know I should stop asking for products to review but it's hard when they write you first wanting you to and I feel like I should, so I do.

But seriously, folks, take advantage of the giveaways I am able to get for you now because I really don't know how much longer I can do them. My hands are already hurting and I only did 3or 4 of them since about 3 pm and one of them I was able to cut and paste. So, read about these products and companies to retain the information you might need some day to call upon them for their help with your skin and body problems that you need help with.

Virga Botanicals will treat you right and get you just what you need every time. And you will love that they know which scents to choose and what to mix with each one. Isn't it awesome when you run into someone who knows their job or calling and gets it done! What is that phrase that is sorta country? Git er done! Or something like that. I seriously don't keep up with that stuff but every once in awhile something sinks in.

Lastly, I wanted to touch briefly on her new products like the Botancial Perfumes. Remember what I said about chemical perfumes give me a headache? Well, I bet these wouldn't! They sound awesome, look at how Virga Botanicals explains what they have done in forming their Botanical Perfumes:

I have expanded my line of natural botanical perfumes! They are aromatherapy-based, using only premium-quality pure essential oils. True essential oils are bioactive - they interact with your body chemistry in a dynamic way. This means, in Acupuncture terms, that they have Qi.

Here is what I found in the About Us section:
We use the ancient science of Chinese Acupuncture herbal practice, combined with the botanical secrets of Western herbalism, to bring you a unique skincare line of astounding effectiveness, and perfect natural balance.

Our ingredients come from the purest, most eco-loving sources we can find, always organic whenever possible.

We use plant sources only. We use recycled packaging. No animals got the short end of the stick in the manufacture or testing of these products.

I love that they pay attention to Chinese medicine! I am currently using a sugar scrub for my foot and this one sounds so much nicer! It has higher quality oils in it then the one I'm using for the same price.
