Tremain Crock & Spreader Set Sponsor Spotlight Review

Just in time for Christmas L. Tremain's debuts some new colors for their Butter Bell Crocks & Spreader Set. This one above is the Polka Dot Series! Isn't it just too cute? I think it makes the perfect gift or even for yourself this Christmas. It already has the classic colors, so what else could you possibly want?  Oh, wait, I know! They are having a sale going on right now. When you buy 2 crocks you get ONE FREE!
See, they even have it in solid red which would still make an awesome setting for your table for Christmas all day long for each meal. Just remember that for this giveaway the only colors available are the red, blue and black. Sorry, I don't think the Polka Dots are included. But if you wanted one, then I would go buy one for yourself and maybe one other family member and the third one will be free. Plus they have a flat rate shipping fee of $7.99 regardless of how much you spend. You will see the big banner at the top of the website that gives you the coupon code to use this offer.
If you remember earlier this year I got my pretty pale pink one to review but it is not like the one with the spreader. You guys are gonna be so darn lucky! Whoever wins this giveaway will get one with the spreader, which saves time looking for a small knife to use with a crock like the one I got. So, I can't tell you exactly how it will look or work but I can show you how I used mine.  I doubt there is much difference other than there will be a place on the side to hold the spreader.
The reason I said you could keep your crock & spreader set on the table all day long is because that is the beauty of how this works! The inside holds your butter and the outside is packed with icy water which keeps the butter slightly chilled all day so that there won't be any chance of spoiling, so enjoy the day and still be able to sneak a roll or biscuit here and there and butter it up and pop it into your mouth quick before you get caught! I found the tips I gave you the last time and thought I would bring them over this time also so you can understand better what to do with your crock filled with butter.
Got this information from the How To Use Your Butter Bell Crock:
The unique design keeps butter at the perfect "spreading" consistency by reflecting outside heat while insulating and cooling the butter. Flavor and freshness is protected by an airtight seal of water at the base of the crock.

Proper maintenance: Water should be changed out every three days. Replace existing water in the base with fresh, cold water. The crock should be stored away from heat or sunlight.

Holds up to one full stick (1/2 cup) of butter. Softened butter is packed firmly into the bell-shaped lid. Cold water is poured into the base of the crock. The lid is placed upside down back into the base of the crock. Soft, spreadable butter may be enjoyed and served right from the crock.
We have really enjoyed ours and although we don't use it every day, on the times that I have needed it, I sure was glad it was here. One less thing to worry about while you are making sure everyone has something to eat and drink and that the food is still warm and that you have plenty of it.  The Butter Bell Crock will keep you from worrying about how the butter is doing, so go relax and enjoy the day.  I didn't think to look but I wonder if this holds true for cheeses, like philly cream cheese and dips?  May have to dig into that with the holidays coming up, we usually use more of those than we do butter and you sure don't want dips and cheeses to go bad! If any of you know the answer to that, I sure would like to know.
Oh, and just so you know, they carry a whole range of products other than crocks! I was suprised when I went over to look around and I found this neat 12 spice holder! Almost looks like a spaceship, huh? Wow, you even have an option of where you would like for it to go. Place on your countertop or mount underneath your cabinet. Includes mounting adapter for mounting under the cabinet ,or, for doublestacking two carousels putting 24 spices at your fingertips! Contains 55 commonly used spice labels.
They have serving ware, like trays, picthers, cups, tea makers, tea kettles, ladles and spoons, bakeware, gourmet foods and even Paula Deen kitchenware! You could actually do alot of shopping on this site and maybe get every woman on your list something that she would like all for that flat rate shipping of $7.99! And a free crock and spreader set to boot! Go check it out if you don't believe me.

What a nifty product, but it sounds like you have to soften the butter before you can put it in the crock.
