The Breath of Dawn Book Review

I have a great book to tell you about called The Breath of Dawn written by Kristen Heitzmann. She writes alot of romantic suspense novels and this is one of those. So, if those are your fortitude, then you have come to the right place to read about her new book and see if you would like to get one or not. Also, at the end of the post is an opportunity to win some prizes, so make sure you stay long enough to look everything over!

Here is an excerpt from the back of the book:
Morgan Spencer has had just about all he can take of life. Following the tragic death of his wife, Jill, he retreats to his brother's Rocky Mountain ranch to heal and focus on the care of his infant daughter, Olivia. Two years later, Morgan begins to make plans to return to his home in Santa Barbara to pick up the pieces of his life and career.

Quinn Riley has been avoiding her past for four years. Standing up for the truth has forced her into a life of fear and isolation. After a "chance" first meeting and a Thanksgiving snowstorm, Quinn is drawn into the Spencer family's warm and loving world, and she begins to believe she might find freedom in their friendship.

The man Quinn helped put behind bars has recently been released, however, and she fears her past will endanger the entire Spencer family. As the danger heightens, she determines to leave town for the sake of the people who have come to mean so much to her.

Fixing problems is what Morgan Spencer does best, and he is not willing to let Quinn run away, possibly into the clutches of a man bent on revenge. But Morgan's solution sends him and Quinn on an unexpected path, with repercussions neither could have anticipated.
Morgan Spencer lost his wife in a car accident when a fire truck hit her vehicle and she died, leaving behind a beautiful little girl named Livvie, who her father adores and that is all that he lives for now. He has a brother who lives in Juniper Falls, Colorado and that is also where Quinn Reilly lives.

Quinn came to town after she had testified against Markham Wilder, a so called preacher who was in Quinn's Dad's church.  He was a con man and only Quinn knew for certain so she transferred the money Markham had stolen from the church and the people going there. She did this so that in the future it would be given back to them.

Markham gets out of jail and plans on getting even with Quinn, even if it means using her older sister, Hannah to do it.  Hannah gives Markham Quinn's cell number and he calls her and tells her he is coming to give her, her just reward, and that God will help him because God is surely on his side.

She decides to confide in Morgan Spencer about the threats and his solution is for them to get married and change her name to Erin Spencer, hoping that Markham will never know where she is. Markham is a very good con and manages to find out where she lives. He goes to her house and trashes it beyond belief but he is filled with rage that she is not there. So, what does he do? He convinces Hannah to marry him and he will use her to find Quinn.

Okay, that is where I am leaving the story so that you will have some interesting reading ahead of you. I also left out alot of important info. How in the heck could Hannah marry him knowing he was after her sister? What con lie did he tell? Did Quinn not tell her sister about Markham? Hmm, read the book and find out!

Happy Reading!
