Anyway, Tea Gallerie has been so super duper nice about trying to give a little bit of tea to everyone in all of my giveaways and I sure do appreciate that. I hope for those of you who won and got to try their amazing tea's that you liked them and will hopefully give them a shot and buy one or two from them in flavors that you would like to try.
The last 2 teas we have now are the English Breakfast and Moroccan Mint. I have to be honest here and say I never knew there were so many different forms and names of mint teas out there! I have been thoroughly enlightened on mint teas!
The Moroccan Mint has organic peppermint and spearmint blended with organic gunpowder green tea to give it that minty flavor but also a hint of something else. This tea is full of antioxidants.
The next tea is a black tea which I am more partial to on a whole although at times, I have yearned for a good green tea. But black tea is probably my best suited tea that I can drink any time, any where, and in several forms. I love all Earl Grey teas and thus English Breakfast to me is almost an Earl Grey but not quite, but within the same lines. It is a hearty good tea if you are trying to stay awake so be warned not to drink late in the night if you aren't planning on going to sleep soon.
It is definitely a traditional blend of organic fair trade black tea with robust flavor. And that is the absolute truth! I forgot that and made my tea last night a little too strong but I still drank it because I had so many reviews to do and so much to catch up on but even the strong tea could not defeat how tired I was. I have had a hard time this week and really should have had all these reviews done by now but my Fibromyalgia reared it's ugly head this week and I have been so wiped out.
So, if I am rushing thru these reviews today it is because I want to make sure everyone gets in there and the giveaways go off without a hitch. I have a feeling come midnight I am gonna crash big time. Alot is going on here and I had thought I had things under control but it looks like my doctor's want me to come back in next Friday and do another outpatient minor surgery like the one I had done last Monday but this time on my neck and shoulder area whereas the last time it was my lower back.
So, I apologize if I have been missing in action lately, but it's really all I can do to get these together and up and going. Had I known all this was gonna go down, I would have backed off some of the events, but once this one is done, I can breathe a sigh of relief and coast the rest of the month with just some single giveaways here and there.
I really do hope that you will cruise thru Tea Gallerie and look at all the wonderful teas that he has to offer. Whatever your preference, they have it! There are green teas, white teas, oolong teas, black teas, herbal teas. pu-erh teas, mate teas, dessert teas, kid's teas and even tea for pregnancy. Which I had no clue that there was one for that!
They even sell some teaware for you to get your full enjoyment out of their teas. I have one such cup that I love! If you want to really get that perfect cup and have trouble with the leaves falling thru your seeper then try this awesome mug! Nothing much gets past this little baby! I have just about worn it out!
You sit the bottom of the cup on top of your cup and it releases the tea thru the bottom filter and all that other stuff stays inside the clear cup while you walk away with a mug of nice hot tea! Simply amazing!
In leaving off with this last tea spotlight for this year, anyway, I decided to bring some of the questions that people have asked Tea Gallerie and the answers that were given. I tried to pick some that I thought were really interesting and maybe something that you should know. Here they are:
How long will loose tea keep?
Our teas are delicious up to a year on the shelf. Though, we believe that our teas are so tasty that they won't be sitting on your shelf for very long. We highly recommend storing your loose teas in our washi sashi airtight storage canister, our own gift tin canisters, or in safe food grade pouches.
How much sugar and how many calories are in your tea?
Once steeped, our teas are virtually calorie and sugar free.
Does tea contain vitamins?
Yes, tea contains many beneficial vitamins. The six main vitamins are the following, vitamin B (mostlyB2), vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E, and vitamin K.
What is the difference between loose leaf tea and tea that comes in a bag?
Loose tea is usually quality hand picked leaf which consists mostly of the first tea bud from the tea plant. It's then sifted and whatever is left over (typically called "tea dust" ) is what is used in most tea bags. The health benefits of loose leaf surpass tea bags in general.
