Okay, here are my good friends from Tea Gallerie again offering another set of 2 teas! I love them! They are truly awesome and no matter how many times I ask for help, they are always there to help and I really appreciate that because it is tough sometimes being a product review blogger because there are so many out there and only so many companies who will work with bloggers, so I don't take them for granted and am always deeply thankful when allowed to tell you about their teas.
This one above is the Sweet Dreams and I like to drink it when I am feeling run down or can't sleep and need to relax. It has chamomile, eucalyptus, and mint mixed in all together and with the chamomile in there, that is what really relaxes, or at least for me it does. I have classic insomnia so it sometimes takes alot for me to fall asleep unless I am having a flare up of my Fibromyalgia, then I can sleep anytime, anywhere! Especially in the car, something about the motion makes me so sleepy I can't hold my eyes open.
So, if you need some help sleeping or just want to relax, fix a cup and sit down with a book and the next thing you will know, you are asleep. I learned after awhile, not to fight it like I used to, especially when a book is awesome and in that case, I will wake up sometime and discover the book still in my hands and still on the page I was reading! Oh, and by the way, Sweet Dreams is considered a herbal tea.
Now, this is the Gen Mai Cha tea and it is considered a Green Tea. I was very curious about the name and who thinks up these names anyway? Gosh, some are so hard to pronounce that even I have a hard time explaining to someone what I want or need. This one has traditional japanese gen mai cha that contains organic sencha green tea infused with brown rice- slightly sweet and nutty flavors.
This tea actually reminded me of popcorn, that is how much the brown rice has dominated this tea. If you look closely, you can see the brown rice kernels. So, if you love popcorn the way that I do, then this tea is gonna be double awesome for you. I really loved it myself!
At first, I wasn't too sure about this tea but after a few sips, I really started getting into it and I must say at this point, I want to profusely Thank You to Tea Gallerie because without them, I would never have known that these exotic teas even existed. So, I have been on a tea mission it seems to span the whole globe! Kinda like a world trip in my own home, so to speak!
You wouldn't think so, but I just looked on their site and realized there is still quite a few teas left that I have not tried, so this won't be the last review you will see from me. After all the Holiday events are over I will go back thru and see which ones are left that I haven't tried so that the next time we do a giveaway, I can let them know which ones I would like to review, sounds like a plan to me, what about you?
Now, here is one such product I have not tried and it's called Matcha Green Tea Scone Mix! This is what Tea Gallerie says about this mix. I am quoting them because I have no idea how this tastes and won't lie to you and say I have:
Our award-winning all-natural matcha green tea scone mix is light, moist and incredibly delicious. With a subtle flavor of Tahitian vanilla, our green tea scones make for a special treat and goes well with tea time. Makes 8 2-oz sconesWhat do you think? Would this be something you would like to try also? Here is what they look like when they are done.
