SMMBeauty Halo Glow Mineral Sponsor Spotlight Review

I have another wonderful product I wanted to share with you today called Halo Glow Finishing Veil Mineral in their makeup line of products from SMM Beauty which stands for Smoky Mountain Minerals.  This product is used to give you a gives your complexion a subtle golden dewy luminescent glow.

You can use it two different ways:

**Use alone or over makeup to help minimize lines, wrinkles and pores.

**Use allover for a youthful luminescence or highlight cheeks and chin.

You will really love this product as much as I do if you haven't already tried it. I love that it reflects the light and bounces the light back off of me so that it does really help hide some fine lines and will minimize your imperfections.

What I did was put on my moisturizer, then my foundation mineral makeup followed by the concealer using a brush or a sponge if you can. Go very lightly on the concealer, don't want to made up to look like you got glowing eyes or something! Then I applied my blush very sparingly and then applied the Halo Glow in small amounts on my cheeks, forehead and chin and along my nose but do it very lightly.

It is suppose to be a natural look and very subtle. I have tried several of some other products that claimed to do the same thing only to be sadly disappointed but not SMM Beauty. They will do just what they say they will do. I instantly had a nice healthy glow all over without looking too made up, which is what I actually want people to see first, not a face that is heavy with makeup and other junk.

Their foundation is also awesome and they are having some great sales right now on their site that you might want to go and take advantage of some of them and it would be a great way to try them in smaller sizes and save even more money!

The foundations, blush, veils and the Halo Glow all come in the same type of pots with the little sifter holes in the top so that you don't have to worry about getting them spilled all over the place. I gently peel the sticker back and get what I need and close it back. That way you hopefully won't waste much and it will last longer.

I don't know if you can tell but on the first line going from right to left, the Halo Glow is in the 2nd pot.  Some of the other colors are foundations and concealers and blushes along with one or two eyelashes.  That is a pretty good representation of all fo their colors which I realise you can't see it thru all the sifter peels that are still on the pots.

Here's a chart from SMMBeauty to help you in your decision as to what shade to get:

**FAIR - Our lightest shade available, perfect for porcelain skin. Most women that burn very easily and never tan use this shade.
**LIGHT - Next in line for the light shades. Most women with this tone will burn then tan.
**MEDIUM - 85% of caucasion women wear this shade. Usually will seldom burn and tan easily.
**TAN - Women with some ethnic backgrounds with lighter skin or tan all year long can wear this shade.
**DARK - Many ethnic skintones will wear this shade.
**DEEP - Our darkest foundation.

Some of the benefits of our minerals:

We do not use Bismuth Oxycholoride in our products. This is the ingredient several national brands use that can cause itching and redness. And since we do not use bismuth oxychloride, you do not have to "buff" your minerals in like you would other brands. Just apply as you would a regular face powder. Superior coverage!

Our minerals give you a very natural look. They are weightless and glide on like silk while still giving excellent coverage. Stays on all day and is water-resistant. Swim, perspire, watch a sad movie. Just blot wetness don't wipe.

SMMBeauty has been kind enough to offer my 2 winner's from my Giving Green - The Green Gift Event the same Mineral Halo Glow that I just reviewed. The Event starts on November 12th and ends on the 26th. Thanks so much and opened to the U.S. only.

I like how they made them with sifter holes, I hate when I get a bottle of powder and it just gets all messy

Thanks for sharing!

would like to try it, I hate the feeling of anything on my skin and they promise that the product is weightless and glide on like silk while still giving excellent coverage.

I have been hearing wonderful things about mineral makeup and haven't had a chance to try it yet. I love their color chart. It is very helpful in finding the right shade. I also like the sifting containers for keeping things neat.
