San Francisco Salt Sherpa Pink Salt Sponsor Spotlight Review

Did you know that San Francisco Bath Salts Company also makes Gourmet Salts like the one featured above? If I knew, then I guess I forgot until I reviewed this awesome Sherpa Pink Natural Himalayan Gourmet Salt came in the mail! I was like, really? Have you ever tried any of the Gourmet salts from them? This is my first and I was really impressed!
We have been using it in alot of our cooking lately and I can definitely taste the difference. I didn't think it would but I was in for a shock. We tried it in our mashed potatoes first and oh my, what a kick it gave those potatoes! Then I tried it in a Chicken Noodle soup that I make from scratch and used some of this sea salt and it was beyond awesome. I would definitely recommend this particular salt to anyone! That means I may have to give some of the others a try because if they are as good as this one, well, we may have just found a way to enhance our food dramatically!

Sherpa Pink® Himalayan Salt Himalayan salt is quite different from salt found anywhere else. For one thing, it's uniquely beautiful: it has a pinkish or light reddish tint, and under a microscope, the crystals within the salt form gorgeously perfect geometric patterns. Himalayan salt, when left raw and in its natural state, is rich in nutrients and minerals. Since many of these elements found within each grain of salt naturally occur within us and in the environment, they are easily absorbed and utilized on a cellular level. Pink Himalayan Salt re-mineralizes the body with minerals and trace elements essential to our health and well being.
I chose to copy straight from their site because the wording was so precise and I didn't want to try and translate that and mess it up and end up misquoting or saying the wrong thing. I think the above statements are profoundly awesome.   Can you imagine a shelf life of 10 years and it has powerful minerals to help us?  I don't know about you guys, but I need all the help I can get with all of my health issues, I think I will try using this salt a little more than I have been.
I usually don't read what is on the website until I am ready to do the review because I don't want it influencing me on my review so I am just now finding out about all the wonderful things that this great Sherpa Pink Salt can do along with you.  I like it that way because then it is all fresh in my mind and it did not sway my mind one way or the other.
It looks like they have a total of 8 gourmet salts in the same kind of bottle that Sherpa Pink comes in and a few of them sound awesome. They have 2 that are from Hawaii that sound good and one from the Pacific ocean that I bet is good. Heck, they all sound pretty good to me right now. They come in either 4 oz or 8 oz bottles and you can buy them by themselves or in packs of 3, which would be $20.99 for a pack of three.
This salt above is from their Smoked Sea Salts and they come in Coarse or Fine ground. This one is the Smoked Cherrywood Sea Salt. Doesn't it look awesome? Wow, I bet this would be great on steaks and hamburgers that you grilled out on the grill. They also have another smoked sea salt called
Smoked Alderwood Sea Salt which is below.
This one might be good on BBQ because that is what it looks like to me but I bet it is just as good on steaks and hamburgers also if you are going for a whole new experience. They say poultry and fish with veggies so that might be the way to go. Although they do say other meats, too. So, I am thinking pork, how bout you?
Whatever you decide, it looks like San Francisco Bath Salts is here to stay with their awesome collection. You can also buy in bulk or in Gourmet Chef's bottles which are differently shaped than the one I got and they are bigger, which makes sense if a gourmet chef is using it in a place of business or in a show or for a demonstration somewhere. The last thing you want is to run out at the most critical point.  I hope that you will go and take a look around. You might find something else that I did not.
