Pirate's Booty Sponsor Spotlight Review

Have you ever heard of Pirate's Booty? I guess I haven't been paying attention much in the grocery stores either because today for the first time, I saw them at Kroger. Of course, they were in the Health Food Section and I don't go there often but I do occasionally.

For some odd reason, I thought they were an online store and you had to order that way. Imagine my suprise at seeing them at Kroger, which I am glad that if I ever need them again, I can go pick them up! I also for some reason had the notion that they popcorn but they aren't! They are Aged White Cheddar Cheese Puffs! Lord, I sure did feel dumb when I opened the bag expecting popcorn and got cheese puffs!

They actually were pretty darn good because each puff packs a wallop of cheese on each puff. And they are not small ones either! They are a pretty good size so I would think that one handful should be all that you need to give to your child.  Why? Well, here are some good reasons:

1.  All Natural
2.  Bakes
3.  130 calories per serving
4.  Gluten Free & Trans Fat Free
5.  50% Less Fat
6.  Kosher
7.  Cholesterol Free

I also found out that they have 6 other flavors to choose from also, so there is a little bit of everything that will appeal to all of your family members or friends so that there won't be any fighting over who gets what, at least I hope so!

With them being baked and not fried, they sure are alot healthy for you! And they really do taste good so you and your family won't know the difference.  All that they want to do is run in and grab some snacks and back outside they go to play, so just let them think they are eating what they want.

You can order them online at places like Amazon Fresh and Fresh Direct. But if you want to save some time and need it right away, then I know my Kroger here sells it and hopefully yours does too, no matter or which grocery chain has it, it is well worth your time and tastebuds to go to the store, it's alot faster to do it that way. There is a Store Locator on their main home page, so go for it and see if it is being sold near you.

Here is the info I got off of their site in  the About Us section:

The Pirate Brands story began in 1987 in Sea Cliff, NY with our founder, Robert. Robert, a snack industry renegade and father of two, scoured the high-seas for a tasty treasure that would inspire people to live a little healthier and have fun while doing it.

That's when Robert discovered the cheesy rice and corn puffs we know today as, Pirate's Booty.
Thanks to Robert and his tasty treasure, no longer do you have to eat "cheese" puffs dusted with neon orange powder with incomprehensible ingredients. When you buy Pirate Brands products, you are getting wholesome goodness without the guilt.

We've created products for the whole family that are all natural, baked AND delicious. We've eliminated fryers and trans fats from all of our products and keep the ingredients simple (no need to Google® search today). Our only additives are just good, wholesome fun.

I didn't grab it all so there is still some story left for you to read on your own.

Yes, these are great to give to children. We got snack size bags and brought them in to my son's school so the class could have them as snacks.. Better alternative than potato chips for sure!

I have not heard of Pirate Booty until now. Sounds like a good snack for me and the kids. I love cheese so this should be right up my alley!
