Mediterranean Hummuz Snacks Sponsor Spotlight Reviews

I recently got to review 3 bags of snack crispz from the Mediterranean Snacks company and what they sent was these 3 flavors in their new Hummuz line.

1.)  Roasted Red Pepper
2.)  Roasted Garlic
3.)  Olive Tapenado

My personal favorite was the Roasted Garlic. I am a garlic freak so that is really nothing new! These great little crackers are somewhere between being lighter than a cracker, sturdier than a chip but with a whole lotta crunch!  You can eat them plain which I mostly did or use them as you would a chip, dip it into your favorite dip, whatever that might be.  I did have a garlic flavored cheese spread that I used on mine when I wanted something a little different, but mostly I ate them plain.

And listen to this, they are gluten free and natural! They are also baked with real garbanzo beans, so they are a good source of protein and low in fat. They are also certified NON-GMO! Now what more could you want than that!

Mike liked the Roasted Red Peppers the best because he likes his snacks to have a little punch and wow with them, so these were right up his alley. Because of my stomach issues, I don't touch those kind of things. I have a hard enough time with food as it is without inviting danger. But, Mike loved it with his cracked slices of cheese or he even used salsa one night because he ran out of his tortilla chips. He says they were pretty darn awesome with the salsa! Figures! Leave it to Mike to make something ever spicier or hotter!

If you like a little pepper flavor in your crackers, crispz or anything crunchy, then this flavor is perfect for you. They are very crunchy, which we both like in our crackers and snacks so I have to tell you that these were that and more. No soggy stuff for us. The crunchier the better.

Lastly, we both liked this one but because of the olive taste I could only eat a few at a time. They are a little salty like olives are suppose to be and normally I love salty but right now my RA meds are not working, so I have been swelling alot and the more salt I eat, the worse it gets. So, I have tried to back away from salty products and limit what I take in until I can see my RA at the end of the month.

You will love this one if you are an olive eater, which Mike is, and he thought they were totally awesome.  They do taste good but like olives, I can't eat many or they will come back to haunt me. These would be good for a dip or a rich bodied cheese, something in the French line I would think or a nice brie or gouda.

All in all I can safely say, without any hesitation, that I believe you will love these new Hummuz Crispz all natural baked snacks. Use them at one of your Christmas parties this season and see what everyone says about them. Mixing them up so that people get all the flavors would be a good idea instead of sticking to one.  I would also put out 3 different things to dip or spread on them. That way you have a complete snack table ready to go!

I did a review for them awhile back for their Baked Lentil Crackers and if you remember them, you will know how good these are! They have stepped up to the plate with a wholesome, all natural, gluten free product that you can safely feed to your kids instead of sweets in between meals and feel good about it. Oh, and you can find all kinds of recipes on their site, just click on the recipe tab.

My son loves snacking on chips and crackers and stuff. He's five and overly active.. We have attempted to put him on gluten free diet but none of the tastes appealed to him.. Would love to let him try these..
