Himalayan Salt Shot Glasses Sponsor Spotlight Review

I don't know if you were like me or not, but I had no idea that these items even existed until I was given the opportunity to review them. They are shot glasses made from the same Himalayan salt that the Salt Lamps are made from! Isn't that just too cool?

You can get these Himalayan Salt Teuila Glasses in only one place and it did not connect with me until now but it's the same place I just did a review of kid's sets of toys, Uncommon Goods! Now, isn't that something! Even though it was my rep with Tortuga Rum Cake who gave them to me, you have to go thru Uncommon Goods to buy them yourselves!

Wow, the world sure does revolve around small things, does it not? Well, you already know I think Uncommon Goods is top dog because of the awesome kid's gift sets that I got to review earlier so now, it seems, they have come full circle with me again on the Himalayan Shot Glasses! Just too funny, really!

Here are the specifics of the glasses:

**Item ID: 21223
**Materials: salt
**3" H x 1.25" dia., 2 oz.
**Care: Not dishwasher safe. If standing liquids are left in Salt Tequila Glasses, they will slowly erode over time.
**Wipe clean when not in use.
**Salt is naturally anti-bacterial. (did not know this at all!)
**100% Natural, 100% Organic
**Carved from the finest food grade Himalayan salt

This is how they are described on Uncommon Good's site:

Spice up your next get-together with these extraordinary shot glasses. They have the finely veined, translucent appearance of rose quartz, but they are actually carved from the highest quality, food grade, Himalayan pink salt.

Perfect for tequila, the cup will give a salty twinge to your taste buds, but with a more nuanced flavor than ordinary table salt. Salt is naturally anti-bacterial, so these glasses require little maintenance, but don’t worry - unlike table salt, the long-lasting mineral salt glasses won’t simply dissolve away after one shot, and will bring their unique zest to many a party.

You will love these if you are a drinker of shots of tequila, which we aren't, but I couldn't pass up the chance to review them. We are still not sure if we will keep them and use them as juice glasses or give them away for Christmas, but either way, they are awesome to see and amazing to touch and feel. I have never seen or felt such smoothness! It is so elegant looking to be simple if that makes any sense at all. I didn't want to use them until I was absolutely certain if we were keeping or not.
Almost makes you wish you could or would drink but with the amount of meds I take that wouldn't be a good idea! So, if we use them, it will be for regular small drinks or as juice glasses. If not, I think I know someone who might love them for what they were intended: tequila shot glasses!

These are really beautiful. They look almost like marble or maybe even alabaster in the picture. Although I don't drink either, they would be a fun and extremely unique gift!!!

What an interesting idea. Almost afraid to have a set of them, since I don't know if I can trust my family, not to pop them in the dishwasher.

These are so pretty :) I have a salt lamp that I swear almost makes me think that these could make drinking good for me ;) Thanks for the great review!

I think that's so interesting. I haven't seen anything made with this salt until I started seeing the lamps that had been reviewed on other bloggers sites. I think it's weird that things would be made with it, but they sure do look impressive!

I'm not really a big hard liquor drinker but I could see how they would be fun for parties and entertaining. It is a unique gift idea too.

I am not a big drinker (I have to take blood thinners and alcohol interferes with them) but I do love the taste of tequila!

I'm not a big drinker either, but my daughter likes tequila! These would be perfect for her

I love all of the versions of the salt lamps but had no idea they made glasses too! Not a fan of tequila but I prefer a small glass generally and these are beautiful.
