Conversation Pieces Sponsor Spotlight Review

I got this awesome sweater from a new company that I am going to be reviewing over the next couple of events called Conversation Pieces.  They were very kind to send me this great sweater to wear. I did not have my camera fixed the day I had it on and as my luck would go when we did get it fixed I was out of time so I just took this one a few minutes ago. I thought about grabbing the image off of their site and I may still do that, but for right now, this is what it look like.  Aren't you glad it's not pink or lavender? I know everyone gives me grief over my colors so I switched it up on ya! Actually, here is another view of it from their site, I felt bad and wanted you to see how long and wonderful it really is:
Isn't it magnificent?  They call it the Polka Dot ... Polka Dot... Cardigan on their site and I guess it does have alot of those! But really, there were so many to choose from but because I am a short woman, only 5'2 I decided I better stay away from all those striped sweaters.  Those things have a tendency to come back and haunt me so I went in a whole new direction.  I could have played it safe like I usually do but I decided to experiment a little this time.  I figured it might be the last time I can do this so what the heck, why not get something that you normally don't do. I love sweaters, not talking about that, it's the colors that will shock everyone!

See, I almost got another thing that I do alot of and that is tees and in either black or white so here was my first instinct, the boyfriend tee in black:

I fooled you, didn't I? I know most of my friends see me either in all black or black and white most of the time. So, I decided to do the unexpected and not get my first choice. I love to be comfortable and I guess sometimes that is okay but then it is hard to find something special to wear when you are always buying what is comfortable.

Now, don't get me wrong, I will still do some normal things, but this once, I decided to see what a little color would do.  Granted, it's not too far off the path with the black polka dots, but I am not a wild woman on some earth destroying mission, just wanted something a tad different and unexpected.

I just hope my hot flashes allow me the chance to wear the sweater again.  That was my main indecision, what happens if I get too hot? Well, it's gonna be winter pretty soon and I will have to have sweaters when I go out to my doctor visits, so that was the reasoning behind the sweater instead of a nice cool boyfriend tee, who keeps mocking me as I am writing. It is saying, I told you to play it safe and get me, now look what you have done! I think I will be just fine as long as I wear it outside for now and don't attempt to wear it indoors.

They have alot of vintage items too and I thought about those but knew I was getting several pocketbooks to review already and I am not into alot of the other things, but I know the younger crowd is so you will enjoy shopping here either for vintage or comfortable items like my boyfriend tee friend hanging around up there. I loved her sign so much I copied it! How cute!

Seriously, Conversation Pieces has tons of stuff to look at from tees to sweaters to leggings to jeans, from dresses to skirts, tops and bottoms, short and small to long and cozy. Just the right mixture that will ensure success and I wish her all the best! You will have no trouble finding something that you will love to wear from here. And if one of you happens to get a boyfriend tee, please let me know what I missed! I may have to visit and get one or it will drive me insane, but only if you love it, which I think you will. They also had these pants I thought about for about a second until the name caught up with me, Skinny-Meanie Pant:

Conversation Pieces has been kind enough to offer the winner's of my all of my Holiday Events, a $50 GC to spend in their store. Just open an account and she will deposit the money in your account, that starts off with Welcoming Winter on November 6th and ends on the 14th. She will also be in Christmas Gifts for Kids that starts on November 12th and ends on the 22nd. But please remember I might use this post more than once since Google doesn't like it if I keep doing the same review over and over on the same subject. So, I will mix it up some towards the end of all my Holiday Events. Just be aware that your direct url link might lead you here with a different event name. Good Luck Everyone! Open to the U.S. only!

I think the polka dot cardigan is extremely cute!! I love cardigans because you can wear them when you're chilled and take them off when you warm up. Love it!

Wow, we actually have a lot in common. I am 5'1" (on a good day), always wear black (mainly due to the weight i gained while preg) and can rarely wear sweaters because I get hot constantly. I'm not sure if they are hot flashes but it sure feels like it. I have been on Conversation pieces site before and they do have some really unique and fun options!

Very cute, I would get a sweater or cardigan, super cold and would love something to wrap up in!

I love cardigan's, since they only have to stay on as long as there is a chill in the air. The dots are adorable & you could wear your black boyfriend t-shirt under it for when you get flushed.

I will say that a lot of their basics look very comfortable. The polkadot cardigan is a fun piece to have in your wardrobe. I really enjoyed going through the accessories section too.
