Stonefire Tandoor Baked NAAN Review & Giveaway **Closed**

I was very fortunate recently to get to try an assortment of the Stonefire's Tandoor Baked Naan and oh, was it pure heaven! I used to eat this kind of bread quite a bit when I was married to my first husband who was from Europe and he grew up on this bread, so thru him, I learned to love it almost more than he did!

Here is what we got to review:

1.) All Natural Original
2.) All Natural Garlic
3.) All Natural Whole Wheat

I know everyone keeps saying that the white breads are bad for you but you would not say that if you had the chance to try these for yourself. I love the original the best and the garlic one second and the whole wheat last. There is nothing wrong with the garlic or the whole wheat, I just love the clean fresh smell of the Original.

Oh, one tip: it really is at it's peak when you thrown them in the toaster oven or a regular oven and warm them up! Something about that heightens my taste buds and I could sit around and probably eat one whole package myself!

The bread at the top of the page is also the Original flatbread also. It really looks good, huh? I have been known to just eat the bead for my meal and be just as happy as I would eating anything else. If you haven't had the pleasure of eating this bread as it is one of the best! I have rolled lunch meat in it before or just plain cheddar cheese or what is even better is feta cheese instead of those other cheeses.

The one above me is the garlic one and wow, is it good, too! This one we used with spaghetti or any kind of Italian meal or just about anything you would like to eat it with and have a garlic flair to it! This one too is good with cheeses and I have a yogurt cucumber dill dip that is totally off the wall with this bread! It also has some finely chopped onions in there also and it really is one of the best dips for bread that I have ever tried.  I was able to get it from the restaurant owner who made it for his flatbreads. They used their flatbreads and dips as appetizers is why.

This last bread is the Whole Wheat or Whole Grain, whichever one suits you best. This is an awesome bread to make sandwich's with, especially with hams and cheese. It is also good with just melted butter if you like the plain and simple way, which I do on occasion. You can make pizza's with these breads and here are alot of recipes on Stonefire's website on how to make whatever fancies your mood on any particular day. That is what makes this bread so much fun to work with and get creative with.

They even have a new flavor out that I didn't get to try but it might have been for the best cause it sound's like it's hot. It is called Sweet Chili so I will have to wait and see how that turns out. It might actually be good to dip into your chili or even a con queso dip!

The other breads they make are Mediterranean pita breads, pizza crust and Tandoori Roti which is below. These are thinner than the naan breads and can be used as burritos or quesadillas. So, even these sound pretty good. I may have to check these out and see how they taste.

Here is what I found out about them under Their Story:
It’s all about authenticity, it’s about being worldly, and it’s about family. “Don’t fight tradition” is a familiar saying at the Ajmera family table.
And this is always referred to in regards to flatbreads, the world’s oldest breads. For the family, the start of the journey in creating Stonefire Authentic Flatbreads was all about being true to the history, heritage and homage of these worldly breads.
The Ajmera’s are very aware that the tradition of making flatbreads has been in existence for over 6,000 years. With participation from almost every corner of the world (from India comes Naan and Roti, from the Mediterranean comes Pita) the intrigue!

Oh, one last thing, please be careful with your breads and here is why:
All Stonefire flatbreads are baked with no preservatives or additives. If desired, our flatbreads can be frozen up to 6 months – please note freezing will not impact the taste, freshness, or quality of our flatbreads. Our flatbreads can also be kept on the counter, but please use by the best before date on the package.
