A Man of Honor Book Review

Another great book to tell you about! I know, I know, I have been going banana's with the books! Somehow, all of my scheduling of books got off track so now I am having to do them at record speed. So, bear with me, because some of these are really awesome books that you will want to read. And with this book, you can actually get one for free, so hold on while we go thru the process. You know, excerpt comes first:
Dusty and Grace find love together, but will it be enough to pull them through life's surprises?

On a steamy spring morning, Dusty Parker--part time pastor, part time search-and-rescue team member, and full time administrator of a school for troubled boys--joins the search for a missing teenage girl. He partners with volunteer and inner city-school teacher Grace Sinclair., and what they find bonds them in ways neither could have expected.

As they begin to build their lives together, a visitor from the past causes Dusty and Grace to further open their hearts. But a threat is looming over their seemingly perfect lives and, in one terrifying night, everything changes.

This story starts out with a tragedy, with Missy Logan missing. She had gotten dressed and then left to go to her prom but she never made it back home. Alot of the townfolk turned up to help volunteer in the search. Missy's teacher, Grace Sinclair, was also there to help in the searching. That is how she met Dusty Parker. Unfortuately, it wasn't much longer before they found Missy's body. She had been beaten to death.

The only good thing that happened during this time was that Dusty and Grace found each other. Dusty had a place for wayward boys called Last Chance but they had problems with a Spanish gang that would beat up on them. Finally, when Jessie, one of the boys, got beaten up pretty bad, Dusty packed them up and they moved into Grace's place called Angel House.

About the time that Dusty got up the courage to ask Grace to marry him, an ex-girlfriend showed up and claimed that her son was Dusty's. She has cancer and is dying and wanted to make sure that her son, Ethan had a place to stay when she was gone. Grace, who is always kind to everyone, took him in and that was that.

I am stopping here because this book is filled with all kinds of twists and turns and I don't want to give too much away about the story. Needless to say, the troubles are not over for any of them. Some of the troubles will break your heart, and others will give you hope. This is a really good book to read with all the twists and turns, you definitely won't get bored!

Happy Reading! Oh, by the way, the author of the book is giving one away, so whoever wins this giveaway will get this book! Open to the U.S. only!
